Emma Roberts, Lily Collins, and Lana Condor are my absolute comfort actresses. I’ll watch *anything* that they’re in because they’re just so wonderful at what they do. They’re queens!
Funny how emma roberts didn't get cancelled for abusing evan peters and get away with it just because she's a women. Women exposing themselves by idolising abuser💀
This is actually a remake of a soviet cult classic 'irony of the fate', i recommend you to watch it. Plus, it seems like the only similar thing between the original and the remake is the reason why heroes met.
The fact that their two houses even the interior furnishings were so identical as for the guy to not tell them apart is the scariest part and perhaps an unintentional commentary on middle class homogeny.
so this is a remake of the irony of fate, a famous soviet film that family's usually watch during the new year. anyway, the plot is the same but maybe makes more sense because soviet apartments literally were built to look the same no matter where you were
Fr, no trailer needs to be three minutes?! Make it a minute and something otherwise we're seeing even the resolution of the conflict at the end. Who gets paid to do these?!?
I like how culture highlights the similarities between the people all over the world. Soviet "Irony of fate" from the 70s was a commentary on commie blocks and state-produced goods being typical, that Hollywood film uses the same plot to talk about mass-market and capitalist production also being typical. Different ways of life, same problems.
@@niessie01 Robert's character probably left her door unlocked, allowing him to just waltz in and get in bed. Although even if he was drunk and exhausted, I think he would still have enough brain function to tell by the decor that its not his apartment. so yeah, huge plot hole there.
This is a remake of the cult Soviet comedy "The Irony of Fate" In post-Soviet countries, we all watch this movie on the eve of the New Year. This is a real tradition. We know all the jokes, all the lines by heart. It's funny that the original film was a critique of the Soviet system, which built the same houses, the same neighborhoods. She named the streets after the same famous Soviet personalities. And the residents furnished their houses with the same interior, bought in the same stores. In Soviet times, no one could have imagined that such a thing was even possible in American realities
And miss such a wonderful opportunity to comment on the bland, ubiquitous, developer-designed, cheaply built "luxury" apartment architecture that has plagued our American cities for the past two decades.
One of the most popular Soviet film is called "the irony of fate", where on the NYE night a guy gets y mistake to someone else's house. The plot is quite similar! I can't believe there are American films influenced by the Soviet ones!
When the screen showed the two of them in different angles and it was presumed that they were texting each other and talking about their relationship, I kind of predicted that they were actually seeing two other people. Because when you see a lot of movies and trailers you kind get ideas from these kind of things.
I need them to explain how he was able to get into her house with his house key. There’s no way that could’ve happened. No key can be identical to someone’s house unless they’ve been copied.
That is actually not true. You’re right there are many different combinations, but it’s definitely possible for different keys to work for different places. It’s not likely, but definitely possible.
"Ирония судьбы или с лёгким паром" is an actual movie 🎬. It's really good, I highly recommend to watch it. When I lived in the US (Boston area), something similar happened to me after a party. It's a pretty funny story.

It's crazy but the main actor guy is a very famous writer. Here in Germany we actually read one of his books during class. Look him up, Thomas Mann, great author.
are you being serious? the actor Thomas Mann and the German Novelist and the 1929 Nobel Prize winner in Literature, Thomas Mann are two different people.
@@diawolf8125 yeah sure, next thing you tell me is that basketball legend Isaiah Thomas didn't both win two championships in the 80s and made an All-Star Team in 2017???
