Liebe Julia, die Stunde "About Love" war wiedermal wunderschön. Ich komme ab und zu auf die Idee "F# Low Pygmy" bei YT einzugeben, mir ein Video auszusuchen, um etwas mitzuspielen, denn wer in Konstanz spielt auf einer "F# Low Pygmy"? Ich glaube, ich bin der einzige. Neulich habe ich bei einer kleinen Impro-Combo (zwei Gitarren, E-Bass und Cajon, später noch Arkordeon) mitspielen dürfen. Das war wunderbar und hat gut zusammengepasst. Aber nach einer halben Stunde war den anderen Musikern "F# Low Pygmy" zu langweilig geworden und sie wollten eine andere Tonart spielen und mir blieb den ganzen Abend nichts anderes übrig als auf den Oberschenkeln mitzuklatschen. Dummerweise hatte ich mein Klavier zu Hause vergessen. Oder ich hätte einen LKW voller untrschiedlicher Handpans dabeihaben müssen, um mit der Band weiter zusammenspielen zu können :-) Ja, das ist leider das große Handicap mit der Handpan: dass man so auf eine Skala fixiert ist. Neulich habe ich mal kurz mit einer Musikerin zusammengespielt, auf deren Handpan der Grundton C# war, glaub ich, das hat ganz gut gepasst. Weißt Du zu welchen Handpans die "F# Low Pygmy" gut passt? Wie ist da Deine Erfahrung? Anders wie bei meinen Synthesizern, habe ich an meiner Handpan noch keinen Knopf zum Einstellen der Stimmung gefunden, deswegen sitze ich oft allein am See oder vor dem Computer und spiele. Im Winter habe ich mir einen kleinen Handpan-Roboter gebastelt, ein kleiner modularer Synthesizer, mit dem ich oft übe. Aber nichts, wirklich gar nichts, geht über das Zusammenspiel mit anderen Musikern! Diese 30 Minuten waren einfach großartig, es hatte auch den anderen Musikern Spaß gemacht, glaub' ich, und ich wurde auch zur nächsten Jam-Session wieder eingeladen. Liebe Grüße, Markus
