Thanks for being so candid about the struggles of raising a family in China. If your mother-in-law is suffering from Alzheimer’s or some form of dementia, the best thing is to try to be patient with her and not let her words affect you. Try to resist arguing if possible. Maybe get her a notebook or journal, so she can write things down. If she repeats herself, you can say, "Oh, look at your notes from last week."
