When I was younger, left - as far as I was concerned - meant that you believed in democracy and everyone having a fair shout and a fair life. You treated others as you would want to be treated. I grew up in a working class family and that's what my parents voted for. It was like a kind of soft socialism, if you like. Now it means something very different. I'm now 58 and do consider myself more conservative, but in no way far right. The term now means something very far removed from what it was then.

I was there with my 13 year old son. The mood was friendly, supportive and peaceful. It felt like like the attendees were just relieved to be around like minded people that had had enough of this madness. Yeah I was watching Paul Thorpe’s video of the day and there was no trouble, no hooligans, no fighting or anything you could call negative. There was a lot of happy, smiling people just enjoying themselves and singing songs. Tommy did a speech of course, as did a few others, and it was all very positive stuff.

If being a British patriot makes me far right,then so be it.I had the BBC news channel on for much of the day.Strangely I saw absolutely no coverage of the march,there was a report of a kangaroo running loose somewhere in America,much more important than British patriots protesting I suppose.

I was proud to be a part of it!!! Only my second March in 64 yrs. the football fan type where significantly out numbered by normal men women and senior generations!!!! And the ones I met escorted me to charring cross as all nearby roads and stations were sealed off and I didn’t know the way!! They were funny and socially spirited, helping a very elderly lady who was struggling with holdalls piled on a shopping trolly!!!!! The media must be gutted at waiting all day to film a kick off!!!!!

I was relieved to see the March. If action to deport or relocate our enemies soon then it will be too late. Peace is important and our peace is compromised, our resources abused, even our laws set to protect us fairly, even our bedrock base, our wonderful Christian foundations. God strengthen us all and protect this lovely country.

In the latest protest laws, you must inform your local council to get permission so they can tell you whether you're allowed to march, where to march, and for how long. Yes, "illegal protests" are now a thing.

Im a 63 year old law abiding ex serviceman who has worked for local government for the last 30 years. I went with my wife. The first time I have felt the need to stand up and be counted. It was marvellous and attended by all colours, men and women from all corners of the Union and a very law and peaceful bunch . I will be doing it again! I have been done with the mainstream media for the last five years or so...Im on my way double done now. sometimes you have to see things with your own eyes to really understand what the hell is going on in this country

The rally March was amazing. No violence or masks. Daily telegraph journalist was slated by comments. The readers had watched and judged. The Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail are disgraceful. We as a family receive both. One online, the other delivered. But not much longer.

The BBC kept reporting on the march alongside the unrest around the Champions League final. 53 arrests they kept saying but upon reading down you find out the majority were from the football, 9 were from counter protests and only 2 from the march (one of which was someone who had a little too much to drink). #defundthebbc
