Navajo Historian, Wally Brown, teaches about the Evil One. And, how he deceives and preys on the Five-fingered being.
By exploiting the five senses... the Evil One lures people into addiction and overindulgence.
He does this by offering counterfeit joy, happiness, confidence, and peace. These counterfeits are fleeting and cannot last.

A while ago, you spoke about a Navajo belief that says speaking about evil things gives power to evil. I have taken that belief as one of my own beliefs. Having it makes sense with all the tragic events in the news. If I don't repeat the tragic news with what I say or what I write, I deprive evil power. I try to repeat the good stories and speak about them.

The dark one comes to teach people not to let one second of their life be unattended. Not to be ignorant of the gift of life.. keep the holy people close and respect the job of the dark ones to teach people not to hide... Only worship life and light! Trying reconnect with my soul but i am in company of…… I can tell more but also better to withhold i guess.. I have recently asked a master for more clarifications. Awaiting my answer what to do. Its been hard. Emberassing. Destructive. Fighting everyday. For positivity, gaining soul and strength. Strength not so difficult, even though i fluctuate. But have power AND love, health virtue, all-awareness. All together very difficult lol. So everyday is like making choices. Often (have to?) being a beast. Hard to find my way. Try focus on myself. Instead all the phenomena im going through. Self-kindness. Where others complaining. etc. Slowly seem to be AT LEAST something improving. Making clearer and more focused days. One thing less to be confused about.

As an amateur theologian, I always feel blessed to learn about the spiritual teachings of other peoples, and seeing how they line up with foreign (to their culture) ones. I feel as though some great, universal truths can be found, if we discard our bias and look objectively. Which is hard - bias is rather ingrained into us humans. All the best to you, sir.

There's at least a grain of truth in all religions. But there's a bunch of controlling fearmongering hogwash and flagrant contradiction in all of them too. Sift through the noise, stay objective like some of you said, and last but not least, don't ever neglect a look at science for more clues or connections. Just be sure to treat sources for that info, the same as you should sources of theological and/or occult info.

Hi Curtis🤗! You’ve put into words what I have in mind since quite a long time! I see parallels between the religions too! After all, I wouldn’t be surprised if all religions, or let me rather call them individual culture ways of belief and worship, are stemming from the same holy source! Different cultures have different traditions and conscious, so to me it seems likely that the path or ways to true and real belief lead to individual religions so to give all different cultures possibilities to understand and embrace them! Pity so many cultures consider their religions as the only ones or the true ones and don’t hesitate to kill everyone else who doesn’t agree! I wish, at long last, humans would humble themselves and understand they’re only humans who neither have the right nor the duty to oppress, torture, torment or even to kill others! Evil deeds like that feed, what we humans call the ultimate evil and the ultimate evil has multiple names due to cultural reasons! Nevertheless all names denote the same: the great evil! Perhaps the biggest and most fatal deception of all might be to make humans think or feel, they belong to the chosen religion or culture! Thanks to Grandfather Wally for his magnificent and mind opening explanations when he shares the wisdom of his ancestors!

I have always been very Empathic and as a child i even had mild precognitive dreams. I was subjected to abuse from family , physical and mental. As i grew i would Eat my feelings cause i was taught not to share them, if i tried i would be insulted, demeaned, or even laughed at. In adulthood i carried the trauma for a long time and fell away from my path and my gifts. Using food, marijuana and alcohol to escape my anger and pain. These past few years have been an adventure of finding my truth. And it isn't always pleasant to see the ones you should love are the ones who hurt me. As my eyes opened to their narcissistic and abusive behavior, i have found strength to put boundaries up. As he was speaking of the Evil one having power that is fleeting, it comes to my mind of the marijuana ive been using for my chronic pain illnesses. Over the last few years i have noticed that the marijuana can cause swelling, inflammation, and sometimes can aggrivate the pain more. I have stopped smoking it now for a week so far cause its causing swelling and pain and i just had major surgery on my left parotid (salivary) gland and cannot have marijuana for this purpose. I see now that , for me, it has hindered my growth as a Healer and has caused more harm than good. I am now starting to sense my gifts are coming back slowly, but they Are coming back. My path has always been to help others and i hope that i can continue to do so even more now. Thank you for sharing this teaching, for now my eyes are clear! Love and Light to you my brother!

Our lives mirror one another. This happens because our bloodline has always hidden dark evil secrets that we knew not . Someone in our ancestral roots, they were connected to secret society's and occultic religions. The satanic ritual "mental" and physical abuse ? Blows off the charts ! Praying for your healing. Love you kindred spirit.

I know you didn't mean anything bad by this comment, but I think you might be stereotyping here in a slightly disrespectful way (in that it might come across like you don't see Native Americans as human beings fully, and that you possibly view them in an archetypal/fetishised/pedestalised way). Perhaps reflect on whether you might unintentionally/subconsciously be doing this. This might not have been it at all, and maybe you just chose a strange phrasing at random. If that is the case, I think phrasing it differently, like, "Listening to the wisdom of Native American elders is calming." Either way, I mean no disrespect with this comment, and I know you didn't mean any with yours. Lots of love 🧡

@@Peter-sp4ddIt's definitely not how you interpreted it. I meant his rhythm of speaking and the depth of his voice. The wisdom, yes of course, but I'm focusing more on his rhythm and voice depth. But thank you for your suggested variation on how I should have said it.

This is at least the 2nd time your story is SO SIMILAR to Judéo-Christian lore that it makes me shiver! To me, this proves our “spirituality” (because some people don’t like the word “religion”) really is the same, it’s only expressed in different words, names and stories for the clear and obvious reason that we come from different continents! But the Spirit is for all the world, and the similarities prove it. I can quote the Bible next to your story to tell any “Christian” who calls yo devil worshippers, that THEY don’t even know their own religion!!!!! …. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Wliwni kci Niwaskw … thank you Great Spirit, thank you teachers!!!! Mitakuye Oyassin!

Most of Christian teachings, if not all, are borrowed from other cultures. It made converting people easier if they could find similarities between their beliefs and those imposed on them.

Thank you again Grandfather. There is strength in your words. Your talk brings me to the things of my past. Regrettibly, I have come across the black holy ones tracks. It carries a sickening smell, and there is an odd sensation of tingling in the body. The birds and deer flea. The insects all hide and hold their peace. The air is completely quiet. It is a very unsettling test. As you share your words, may you live your path in peace, surrounded by those you hold most dear. Crow - Black Feather

I always had good feelings for all ethnic groups, but you Diné I especially have liked since I was a child. I also had strong feelings about another group in a country south of the USA, and when I went there I found out why, as I had very good interactions with them, including an elder who taught me things. Now I discovered these videos about Navajo Traditional Teachings and from what you are telling me I'm discerning that there are deep and meaningful things in your Diné philosophy which are good to hear. Just saying thank you and I recognize that this is good wisdom you are propagating.

One of the biggest things I learned from the Hopi was that " some things are not to be seen or spoken of". This means that even if you see it by chance, you were brought there. If you spoke of it then you have defied the spiritual message that you should have gotten.
