Got the lens put into my crosslink fit’s yesterday. I immediately went and brought another pair of cool temple arms. As a person who at 38 still breaks their glasses, these crosslinks are a lifesaver.
With the Crosslink having just the mild wrap, can this be filled with a prescription that has a "prism" requirement? Because of the prism, I cannot have frames with a "wrap" filled, which severely limits my wrap choices.
Hi Stephon, I believe he is wearing the Oakley Crosslink frame (in a Grey Smoke colour option), which is now a discontinued model - however, very similar is the Crosslink MNP Trubridge - bit.ly/2Uh01Ce - which is a very similar frame shape with the addition of Oakley's Trubridge nosepad system meaning you can choose the right shape nosepad for you from the multiple nosepad shapes they provide.
Hi Timothy, I am not sure that the Oakley Crosslink are designed to be anti fog, however, the Oakley Flight Jacket - bit.ly/2SAvh0E and the Oakley Field Jacket - bit.ly/2DF2YE1 both have the Oakley Advancer nose bridge which is designed to provide better airflow to help combat fogging and overheating. I hope this helps!
Agreed, the Juliet was a great frame, I'm not sure why Oakley would choose to stop making it! Although we cannot provide you with the Juliet frame, we do have a wide range of other Oakley frames that might gain your interest, here: bit.ly/2DDPaL2 I hope you are able to find a suitable frame that suits your taste!
The Oakley Crosslink MNP are dreadful. Cheap plastic with ear socks that don’t last 5mins. The material degrades so quickly. Eventually the clips that hold the ear socks to the frame diminish and become loose. They’re also quite heavy for cheap plastic. My advise if you use these for regular spectacles is to find alternatives but for sunglasses only worn a few months of the year on an occasional basis are fine.
Hi Vince, we're sorry to hear that Oakleys standards are not living up to your expectations. You might be interested in trying out our very own Aero Sports Eyewear brand - we have some similar designs/styles to some of the Oakley designs, but at a much better price point: bit.ly/38YqpXi We hope that you can find something you like!
