Hi, do you know of a place where I could buy the digital tracks for Anjunadeep 01 and Anjunadeep 02? I've been searching for ages now and I can't find anywhere to buy them (I live in Canada). I'm a really big fan of the Anjunadeep compilations but I can't find these two first albums anywhere and I CRAVE for them. Thank you!
Remixers are missing from the tracklist. Track 10 correctly: Breaking Ties (Jaytech & James Grant Mix) Track 14 correctly: Vela (Electrobios & Interplay Mix)
Lockdown 2020 trance tunes, the best driving 🚘 album for a long car journey. Never get bored of playing this. It's like 1991's Papua New Guinea - future sound of London to me 😎
What a great start too the Anjunadeep series and i really love this album and not only that its mixed by Above & Beyond too and my favourites are Nobody Seems To Care, Breaking Ties and mat zo synapse Dynamics and what a really good album with beautiful melodies and vocals too.. thank you Above & Beyond i love you guys 👍
Its not trance, trance normally has a pattern of peaks and drops with a higher bpm. This is prog house, and before the genre got bastardised and the meaning changed/twisted to include the likes of SHM. Anyway enough ranting, amazing album and thats why we're all here
I have mixed feelings on Anjunadeep probably because I'm just starting to listen to it. I'd heard of it and watched the 17min documentary about James Grant and the formation of Anjunadeep. I kind of classify slower EDM meets lounge music because you can just chill with it, or you can just groove 'n' move with the beat, but it's not nearly as fast as club dance/EDM and it's not as slow as lounge music; I guess it's that in between. I'm about halfway through this disc and have found parts I've liked and just had playing while I work, but one or two points that I wasn't really feeling the music as much. Either way, I'm not set on how I feel about this sub-genre of EDM. I'll listen to more to get a better sense of it considering this has developed over multiple years at this point.
Wow I never realized how much the Anjunadeep 08 edition of "No One Seems To Care" outshines the OG. Not sure if I can truly enjoy the original knowing the remake is out there.
