Couldn’t agree more. My favourite track by a mile (& I love all the others). It is transcendent & takes me to that shore watching a Viking funeral at sea. The lyrics are simply incredible & that melody & drum pattern at the end gets me every time.

I first heard about Above & Beyond/OceanLab on a game called Audiosurf. "On a Good Day" was one of the tracks. Made me come here and it has opened my ears to the world of trance and EDM. Nothing makes me feel the way this music does. It's fun to watch gameplay of Audiosurf with this track....

This is not only in trance. It's everywhere. Efforts are more concentrated on quantity than quality and people consumes everything. Netflix is the easiest example: lots of crappy series, everybody watches them all.

That is the greatest explanation I couldn't find words for. It touches you if you understand, and others just hear music. For us who get it, we come back time and time again. Tonys Deep Sessions reminded me of this epic compilation. I didn't think 2009 was that far away, and it's not really, but 11 years is a long time. Justine and Zoe have been the female voices of A&B and they are like a mothers voice. They reassure and provide calmness. Suddenly what was present in 2009 now becomes history, and I never witnessed the turning point. But that's what it's all about. Great music is timeless. I listen to these now, as if it was way back when. And the freshness is still there.

It's like a treasure hidden somewhere under the ocean. Out of all the crap people listen to these days, they would really have to dive deeper to listen to this gem of an album. And the sirens of the sea will only be heard by those who are able to do so.
