Above & Beyond's 'Sun & Moon' is the first single to be taken from their eagerly anticipated second studio album 'Group Therapy'.
Made for the festival stages and big room arenas of this world, the song blends a funky tech groove and a huge club-smashing riff with poignant, bittersweet break-up lyrics -- sung by 'Alone Tonight' and 'Stealing Time' vocalist Richard Bedford.
Already a fans' favourite judging by its response at Above & Beyond's recent gigs at Brixton Academy and L.A. Palladium, 'Sun & Moon' will be released on 7th March.
"Sun & Moon is really 'Alone Tonight' part 2. It's a break up song, but with a twist, namely the idea that even though relationships end in the physical world they live on in your memory forever.
The original piece of music it was written over is a gorgeous naked arpeggio piece called 'Mist' that Jono and Paavo cooked up years ago and thinking about it now 'Sun & Moon' has had possibly the longest gestation of any of our songs: it exists in so many versions, many of which we hope to finish off.
We played another mix of it in our live show in Beirut two years ago, but the current mix, with the massive riff, is very much a product of our recent 'Group Therapy' sessions. We love it!" - Above & Beyond's Tony McGuinness

Followed by the perfect preperating beat for 2:44 and the transition into 3:12 is also insane. Above and Beyond are on another level when it comes to these things in general, I definitely reccomend checking out their Oceanlab (Sirens of the Sea) album, first time I was listenting to it I was simply mesmerized and I still love all the songs, Sun and Moon of course carries it's own undying legacy, not many songs can lift you up way out into space as much as this one.

Tracks like this are the reason why A&B are the best producers and run the most successful label in trance.
