I heard this song once playing on KBC radio in Kenya on a show called "beat time". That was in 1998 or 1999, no internet , no way to know the title of the song. But the melody was permently seared in my memory. Not one year passed by that this song did not play in my mind. I always wondered what song it was. It now 2022, I whistled the mellody of this song on google and it was the top result. I have finally found it, 23 years later.
Best feeling ever isn’t it??!! I heard it back in the late 90’s-00’s and like you , I didn’t know the name of the song but always remembered the tune.. I brought it up to a an old friend back in 09 and he gave me the title. I’ve remembered it since and come back to this song here and there.
One of the greatest songs of all time. I first heard this on ICP's "Juggalo Show" when they took over a local Detroit radio station. Beautiful lyrics and melody.
The dopest I was there for the whole album watched it getting made from scratch at Donovan the dirt bikes in Torrance it's exactly what it says legendary
[Hook] Sometimes I can't fight the feeling These setbacks they come by the millions Life is one big escapade You won't know till it's too late Sometimes I can't fight the feeling These setbacks they come by the millions Everyday's an episode Can you handle the load?
Back in the day my homie threw this track on, all the homies were thrown off by that banjo, clownin'. I thought it was dope. It was original; never heard a track like this. The more I listened to it, the more I liked it. A week later, this was everyone's favorite track. lol Man, the good ol' days.

@@bazOOkabilly Was geht ab? Grüße aus Kalifornien.. WESTSEITE!! Ich weiß, dass Above the Law sehr beliebt sind, aber es ist schön zu wissen, dass sie es bis nach Deutschland geschafft haben. Sie haben einige gute Leute da draußen. Vielen Dank für Ihren Kommentar! Ich habe den Google-Übersetzer benutzt - I used Google Translate 😀
Loyalty, love and respect to everyone that can relate to that!

I saw Above The Law at a Car Show right before this album dropped. I took a picture with them and it didn't come out. I always thought that sucked. haha RIP KMG...Legends before and after this album dropped!
I haven't heard this song in 20 years. I used to hear it on DJ Screw Tapes back in the day but never was able to determine where this was from. Shoulda known it was ATL, Screw loved them.
The first/only time I took shrooms I was feeling 1000 different emotions at the same time. Put on this album/especially this song and I was cool, calm, and in the zone!!
Once I was in jail, after writing letter to the courts, saying that their Police were racially prejudiced. This lady cop asked me, "Why do you think ur above the law?" I said that Above The Law was a rap group and she was astonished.
They saying everything about pac "is too late for this shit is 1997" pac was never a gang banger but he backed it up. Now everybody will die for pac RIP PAC 🙏
