I couldn’t imagine all the stress Lincoln would’ve gone through in his life. Great video. Hope go to the Lincoln library someday.

I love the ghosts of the library show. It’s a great representation of how history can come to life, especially in a place such as a museum. It makes the past seem less abstract

I remember a field trip to this museum. We saw the John Wilks Booth wax figure and one of my friends was talking to this statue for a full three minutes, just her arguing with a statue. Best memory of the museum.

Well, Springfield is absolutely essential for anyone who appreciates American history. Plus, there's much more than this amazing museum, e.g. Lincoln's Home, Tomb, the Old State Capitol, and much much more (I have videos on lots of that stuff.) Good luck on that proposal, it would be worth it!

Yeah the place is awesome. This is a place I'm probably going to try to visit annually now because I went back here in October (this was filmed in 2019) and ALL of the artifact cases had different things. Plus it's just an awesome and inspiring place, definitely recommend going back sometime soon!

Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12th 1809 and he was shot by John Wilkes booth at Fords theater while the president and first lady Mary Lincoln where watching the play our American cousin John Wilkes booth then jumped from the presidential box he then yelled sic semper tyranus meaning this saying means that tyrants will fall but Abraham Lincoln wasn't a tyrant at all instead Lincoln did keep his promise to keep this country together even though America was involved in a great but horrible civil war that lasted from 1861-1865 millions of American people on the sides of both of the north and the south were lost in this war thousands yes were killed, this was because of the south wanting to keep slavery going and even wanted slavery to go up into the north as well but president Abraham Lincoln had said that slavery would have to come to an end, John Wilkes booth said that president Lincoln must now be assassinated because booth was for slavery because booth didn't like African Americans. And he wanted America 🇺🇸 to stay all white but president Lincoln had other ideas 💡, because Lincoln believed that all men and women were created equal yes all men and women, this includes African American's I think that president Abraham Lincoln was right that every American has the inable rights to be free, this is just why president Abraham Lincoln dedicated a portion of the field at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania as a final resting place for all of the soldiers from both north and south four score and seven years ago our forefathers brought forth on this continent a new nation conceived in in liberty dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal and the last half of Lincoln's Gettysburg address, goes like this that this government of the people by the people and for the people shall not perish from the earth, the Gettysburg address was signed Abraham Lincoln, November 19, 1863. After General Robert e.lee surrendered to General Ulysses s. Grant on April 9,1865 just four short days later John Wilkes booth would sneak into the presidential box aimed and pointed a single barrel darenger pistol at the back of president Abraham Lincoln's head and fired a single shot lead ball into the back of president Lincoln's head Abraham Lincoln lived until 7:22 a.m. Saturday April 15th, 1865 the 16th president of the United States 🇺🇸 of America 🇺🇸 was carried by ten people into the Peterson house 🏠 across the street from Ford's theater where president Abraham Lincoln died president Lincoln was taken by a special funeral train from Washington DC to Springfield, Illinois were he was buried in the Lincoln family tomb, could someone please let me know the name of the cemetery were the bodies of president Lincoln his wife Mary Todd Lincoln and three of thier four children were interred in the Lincoln family tomb, because Robert Todd Lincoln and his family are buried in Arlington national cemetery in Washington DC because Robert Todd Lincoln's wife didn't want Robert Todd Lincoln to be buried with the rest of his family, but yes could someone please let me know the name of the cemetery were the whole Lincoln family except Robert Todd Lincoln are buried? And the big squared marble monument in the Lincoln family tomb sits just several feet ahead of the spot marking were president Abraham Lincoln is buried the 16th president of the United States of America 🇺🇸 is in a burial vault behind the marker and just 10 feet below the floor the burial vault is incased in 28 1/12 tons of iron rebar and cement because in 1901 just 36 years after the assassination of president Abraham Lincoln some people broke into the Lincoln family tomb and tried to steal the remains of the 16th president of the United States of America 🇺🇸 Abraham Lincoln when president Lincoln's casket was opened for one final time and president Abraham Lincoln's remains were looked at it was determined that these were the remains of the late 16th president of the United States of America 🇺🇸 Abraham Lincoln because president Lincoln's remains were so well and so many times embalmed you could still see 👀 president Lincoln's facial features and his black hair was still on his head as well as his black beard that president Lincoln was asked to grow for his inauguration on March 4,1861 by an 11yr old girl 👧 president Abraham Lincoln kept his famous beard throughout his first term as the president of the United States of America 🇺🇸 and was still wearing the black beard when he was inaugurated for a second and final time and a second and final term as the 16th president of the United States of America 🇺🇸, and now the 16th president of the United States of America 🇺🇸 has a united state's naval aircraft carrier named after him the u.s.s. Abraham Lincoln, but just in the near future I'm very sure that Abraham Lincoln will have a few more naval ships 🚢 named after him, because in star trek Abraham Lincoln just had a brand-new oddesy class starship named after him the u.s.s. Abraham Lincoln registry number of ncc-1861, the u.s.s. Abraham Lincoln ncc-1861 is the 3rd starship of the oddesy class starship's to enter service with the United federation of planets a.k.a. starfleet command, and the oddesy class starship named after the 16th president of the United States of America 🇺🇸 the u.s.s. Abraham Lincoln ncc-1861 was built orbit of this great earth 🌎 at the United federation of planets starfleet command starship shipyard.

Oh so sad about the ponies! After Lincoln’s death, when Mary and the boys were walking down the sidewalk, a lunatic jumped out and stabbed the dog to death. The only known case of a President and his dog dying by assassins.

Remember Robert Todd Lincoln was born first in 1843, then Eddie was born in 1850. I believe Willie was born in 1852, then Todd was born in 1853. The only one whose live longer was Robert Todd Lincoln until 1926.

Looks absolutely nothing like Grant. Only the woke Disney people would be stupid enough to make it look like Grant had long blond hair. Wow. I love Lincoln, but a thumbs down on this Presidential library and the guy who made this for not knowing what Grant really looked like. Do your research.
