It's usually a PG-7v2 since the PG-7VR tandem is too heavy for a drone to move fast (too much momentum and mass lol). Unless you're talking about what HAMAS did in the early days of the Gaza-Isr*eli war w/ that quad copter.
@@realhumanbean3927, half true, I remember that the “Russian Shovel” became a wider thing after some medias claimed that Russians were fighting only with shovels or something like that before the Summer offensive. And since Russians repelled it, the mighty shovel became a thing.
At first glance, the Abrams was detonated by a shovel carrying a Russian drone and appeared to be severely damaged, but thanks to the Abrams' defensive capabilities, the crew escaped unharmed.
To be honest, nothing is known about the ecopag at all, yes, he may have escaped. But Abrams himself probably won't be able to fix it, because when smoke comes out of your hatch, it's clearly not good... In addition, most likely, all the fuel tanks burned down. And the territory itself near Avdiivka, where Ukrainians are retreating.
Blowout panels worked, crew got out, tank is *probably* still repairable (If it is recovered is another question, hopefully the Czech artillery comes in clutch and current losses are reversed)
The tank was burning from inside and blowout panels don´t work, if you carry a lot of HEAT or HE shells, what they obviously do. And what do you mean can it be repaired? The tank was burning like a torch, there is nothing more inside. Moreover, the hatches are closed, which means, that crew is sadly deceased. Western tanks cannot survive a drone hit from the side. @@Am_Yeff
Lmao heard a story from a friend of mine that plays BadCompany server in ARMA, he told me there was this one Ukrainian guy that kept thanking Americans or something for the aid to Ukraine and kept asking to enter the Slammer (Which my friend is in and it's a Merkava) and the Ukrainian guy kept saying "cAN I EnTER AbRAhAMs LiNcOLN TeNk PLeAs ?" then went into a Kuma calling it a Leopard instead and rushed off into an enemy battlefield when he could've sniped like 5 km away lol.
I love how the T-90M the BMPT, the Oplot, the Leopard, and the Abrams were all promised to be wonder-weapons by their respective militaries and then they get blown up by a 19 year old, who made his hobby of flyign drones into a war profession.
The abrams from newer sources is actually sorta fine apparently. Crew bailed out and only the ammo blew, so its technically repairable. If the ukrainians can tow it away under fire is another question Edit: yeah from what suchomimus said the tank is completely fine aside from a few burns from the blowout area. Now its a matter of towing the damn thing to poland or smt for repairs
yeah its blowout panels worked and the hull is "fine" i just cant be assed to replicate it in arma with how shitty ACE is, so i just let it go boom when the shovel drone smacked it doubt it though if the ukies will be able to recover it from that area.
@@bannedinc. the ukies will try to prob send leopards or abrams to hold the area to recover it, as they cant afford to lose a valuable western asset. If all hope is lost they might destroy it to prevent the russians from getting their hands on it.
@@Furyfrags i dont think sending even more stuff to try and recover it from a contested area is a smart move, they will just lose more men and assets trying to recover it, it aint looking good for them eitherway, not even sure if the crew were able to run away to safety
Far as i can tell, the biggest problem with Leo 2 and Abrams in Ukraine for the Ukrainians is them being unable to take advantage of the survivability and mobility kills being essentially semi-permanent
It blows my mind that people still think tanks are these nigh invulnerable monsters on the battle field. We've seen a T-80m get stomped because it got jumped by Bradley's, we've seen Leopards get shit on by helicopters operating at range, and now we've seen an Abrams get clapped by a drone. Yet somehow, for some reason, there are people arguing to death about which tank is best, which gun is better, what type of armor is the most protective, yadda yadda and on. And it really pisses me off for some reason. I mean for fucks sake! If your favorite tank can't even survive a simple shovel attack it's probably a pretty shit tank.
I guess the part where Spookston joked about Leopard 2s having a -400% crew efficiency debuff when painted foreign colors applies to an Abrams in not only Saudi Arabia but Ukraine as well...
Pro Ukraine supporters in a nutshell. They'll talk smack about all Russian equipment and vehicles, but cheer when they see Ukrainian soldiers using the exact same equipment and vehicles 🤷♂️
Although i am a russian - no tank can ever be understroyable. Yes, 3 Abrams were already destroyed, but that doesnt maje the tank bad, it just shows how advanced modern ATGM systems are.
@@davidty2006 Tempting, but nah... tanks just have a new role. Basically assault guns now. The problem is that Ukraine doesn't have the same air capabilities as a country like the US may. A way to keep the skies clear. Then again, drones can bypass that. Maybe flak guns will make a return. It's too short-range to take out a jet, but enough for drone clearing. Like how in Dune, swords made a comeback, some lessons from ww1 and ww2 may return as well...
Кумулятивная авиационная саперная лопата(сделанная из микрочипов со стиральных машин и микроволновок)- новая технология для борьбы с НАТО, и как показывает видео, рабочая.
NATO is debating sending troops to Ukraine now since Russia is suddenly getting land all of a sudden, I thought this would be a easy defense against shovels and russianized washing machines
If you really think about it, the Abrams entered service in 1980 so its like 44 years old. It was never intended to fight drones, and thats for all tanks. Tanks were originally created as a heavy spear head to push the enemy back or break enemy lines.
@@bannedinc. Unfortunately, invulnerable tanks have not yet been invented, so I don’t see anything extraordinary in this particular Abrams. Regular US troops also lost them, and they fought against pygmies with RPGs and “cornets” at best. But a battle between IFV and the “most modern tank” is already something.
@@vitaliy1655 of course, the point of this shitpost was just to make fun of some overzealous pro-ukrainian supporters that keep on harping about it being a gamechanger. as for the IFV's against an MBT, during that time i was already doing the A-50 status when that engagement happened lol, was also busy with other things during that so i just did the A-50 status instead
i mean i live in the mountains, so that counts i guess lmao and tourists dont understand ive been making fun of whoever for awhile now. the americans, the idiots in the middle east, africa, the UN, the red cross, this whole shitshow just has alot of material to work with
The shovel is mightier then the tractor. ...Wait, that doesn't sound right. -Abandon your tanks, still fully intact and operational -Enemy tractors tow your abandoned tanks, so the enemy could use them against you -Use makeshift kamikaze drones to destroy the tanks you abandoned to the enemy/ in use by the enemy. -Stonks!??
Russian soldier: Ivan , we did it ! Let’s go to the headquarter for 4 million Robles 😎 (In Russian army if you destroy Abrams you get 4 million Robles , if you destroy leopard you get 3 million Robles)
