i could not find a used abs for my Corsa D. for some reason i got a special abs blok on my model. i found a matching block on a Punto E. same blok you just have to switch the electronics hopes its usefull. #corsa D
I had issues with it on my Ford. Useless component, that we could never get right. The dealership even wanted to just bypass it. They can be so dangerous when you are going 65mph, and it decides to lock up. Glad you got it sorted out. 👍
A lot of components of the Punto and the Corsa are interchangeable. They are built on the same platform. The motor in your Corsa (1.3 CDTI) is a Fiat motor. I own the same Corsa myself and just replaced the heater resistor with a Punto one.
That was actually the reason why i looked at Punto at the dealer. I earlier got a injector from the same car :-) Thats we i wanted to point it out in a RU-vid video, if it could help somebody even though it's not my normal content 🙏😊
@@koikanalenThe ABS-blocks are well known for faults (quite sensitive for old brake fluid), so this is definitely a cheap (and OEM) fix for your Corsa. With good and regular maintenance these cars are very reliable (mine has 400k). Good luck and thank for sharing!
