Archive Philippines would like to thank the original uploader for the source video (due to the uploader's confidentiality, we would not show its name in order to protect their archived content) for this rare clip, as this was taken from a commercial break during the Miss Earth 2002 pageant, where Džejla Glavović of Bosnia & Herzegovina won the title that year, but she was dethroned in 2003 due to her failure to comply with the stipulations in Glavović's contract. Kenya's Winfred Omwakwe, who was the first runner-up, took over her position and formally crowned as Miss Earth 2002 on 7 August on the same year.
ABS-CBN is a Filipino commercial broadcast television network that is the flagship property of ABS-CBN Corporation and is the country's first television network, which was launched on 23 October 1953.
In what has been part of the Filipinos' yearly Christmas tradition, ABS-CBN's Christmas station IDs are not only being star-studded, but also carried a heartfelt message; in the form of songs or a theme, of how Christmas in the Philippines means love, gratitude, faith in God, kindness, and even family.
It was 2002, and on that time, ABS-CBN remains as the country's no.1 TV network for 15 consecutive years, the longest number of years of dominance recorded in Philippine TV history. During that year, the network began its yuletide tradition of producing station IDs for the Christmas season, with its theme "Isang Pamilya, Isang Puso, Ngayong Pasko". This clip for the teaser of the then-upcoming Christmas ident was taken courtesy of a commercial break during the Miss Earth 2002 pageant.
