*"King David's love for Absalom is touching, but it is also a reminder of the importance of discipline and justice. Sometimes, true love requires us to make difficult decisions to protect our loved ones and prevent the spread of sin." To everyone reading this comment, may God give our brothers and sisters the wisdom and courage to make the right decisions, even when they are difficult.*

📖 Absalom's betrayal is a powerful reminder of the consequences of ambition and pride.

Yes, David's handling of Uriah must be indeed remembered.

Outstanding teaching! If this story does not reveal the truth of satan's rebellion against God's kingdom, nothing does!! Thank u so much. God bless ❤

That is the mirror on our parenting today! The disaster of rising our kids without any discipline!

This is wonderful...for me personally I never understood why David did not deal with the rape of his daughter. Legally and spiritually, he had the right to give her justice such a crime demanded.

Let us not forget the real truth of all of this is because of David's murder of Uriah.

Yes, but I wonder why King David didn't punish Amonn for his perversity towards his sister? Isn't that rape a horrific act? Lamara was with her life destroyed, but no one cared! The lesson is that our actions and decisions have high good or dire consequences. King David, though he allowed Absolom to return to Jerusalem, didn't want to see him, so in his heart, he didn't forgive his son, and the consequences were tragic. I wonder why the Prophets of King David's Kingdom couldn't help the King in his discernment. This is one of the sad stories of the Bible, and many others are sad as well, with harmful consequences. Everything we do has consequences! The answer is to turn to the Almighty for guidance before making decisions. May G-D continuously bless you, and may we allow ourselves to listen to HIS Voice.
