Abcess was really huge and held all that dead tissue!! That was awesome!!! I love to watch those!! Now l know what it's meant when it's said ""that was so satisfying!!!"" Even dermatologists say that too!! This Keebo vet cares enough about the animals, he scrubs, rinses, shaves, and scrubs again and that's animal love 💘❤!!! Thank you for taking the time to give your love and care to all cows and the cows love the head and ears scratches too!!!!💞

Great job Doc! This video made my heart smile! I love when people truly take care of their animals and make sure they get the best medical care. But I do have a couple of questions that am hoping the Doc will answer. I have seen a lot of these types of videos and am curious why some animals just have liquid come out and others have that thick, chunky stuff come out as well? And also WHAT IS THAT STUFF? Why is it in some animals and not others?

Another amazing job Doc. Keep up the good work. I wish some of these independent farmers would watch your videos before they slice open their animals. They definitely don't do half of what you do. So again thank you for being a great Animal Doc! You rock!

I wonder why the cut wasn’t made on the underside verses right in the middle of the abscess? I’ve just seen so many of them done on the underside for better drainage, just wondering.

What are those big clots that are coming out of that abscess?? It looks so nasty, but I suppose it's better to get them out?? Please could you answer asap?? I'm really interested in learning more!! Thanks for sharing 🌹♥️‼️

It appears she was kicked, it caused the hematoma.( Grape jelly ) clumps. The kick may have also abraded the skin, allowing germs to enter, thus the infection. This Veterinarian is the most humane, kind and compassionate towards the animals in his care. ♥️

I don't understand why they never cut at the bottom of the abscess, always a few inches above.

Bom trabalho mas assista um vídeo do dr. Pol, ele é prático e rápido. É só dar um "pick" com o bisturi e sai tudo.

I don't understand why you would not want to make the incision at the lowest point possible to allow gravity to assist. Seems to me (who is NOT a vet) it takes a lot more work getting all of the infection fluid out because of the bottom part of the abscess?

+April G you are taught to go after the softest spot so as to not cause more trauma to the area than in required. its easier to vacate liquid from the soft spot, then remove any chunky material, than to force chunks out through a bad opening then to clear out the fluid

Plus for some I think they think about 2hat the skins going to do when it deflates. When I had some cysts removed, they cut in in such a way that the skin wouldn't pucker whilst healing and thus cause more pain and cost more time to heal. Maybe it's a similar practice?

He's not scraping the skin, he's only shaving the hair from a spot so he has better, easier, cleaner access to the abscess. This Dr. is the absolute best. He doesn't hurt any animals at all but takes very good care of them. I love this Dr. He's the best as far as I'm concerned.
