If you want really really good music mixed with mecha action, then I would really recommend you to watch macross delta! A lot of people give this macross series a lot of flack and talk shit, but please just don't listen to them. Yeah the plot isnt that deep, but all I care about when it comes to anime is how enjoyable and fun it is to watch. I had such an enjoyable time watching this anime and it has become my favorite among the entire macross series next to Frontier!
