Great art but the story is rubbish and that is insanely expensive for 3 issues

Great overview, the Absolute format and extras almost make me want to buy this, but I bought these in singles as they came out and found the story to be a gigantic let down...would have been better as a one shot released closer to Darkseid War. Geoff Johns proved he is no Alan Moore regardless of how hard he tries, he's just not clever enough. The art in this is fantastic though, Fabok really killed it...if more Big 2 books looked like this on a consistent basis the comics industry wouldn't have to hide its sales numbers.

I still have all the original comics and their special cards! It's a genuinely great story with a lot of nice Easter eggs and some fun twists. Absolutely worth the read if you liked the Killing Joke and wanted more!

Isn’t the Comedian Joker suppose to be dead at the end of The Killing Joke? I thought Alan Moore came out and confirmed Batman kills him at the end of that story, that’s why his laugh suddenly stops.

Great video. I've fallen out of sync with a lot of stories to do with comics, but my love for them still sparks back up now and then. So, seeing a video like this was really entertaining. Nicely done 👍🏻

Also, wasn’t this suppose to be the continuation of the Darkseid War, when Batman takes helm of the Orion seat (I think that’s what it called) and asks who’s the Joker? To its respond it gives him “Which one?”

A lot of people have theories about this story so here's mine: The Comedian is the True and Original Joker who created the other Two the Criminal is an old school gangster from Gotham in issue #2 he told the Red Hood "Before Batman. .. I ran Gotham" before Batman appeared in Gotham it was the gangsters who ran the city, The Clown is a failed TV presenter, all were tortured and brainwashed by the Comedian since the origin and real name of the Joker that it doesn't matter that's what everyone has been trying to say being honest we all know Batman's identity is since the Joker is the complete opposite of Batman it wouldn't make sense if everyone's the Joker's real name now I think that's how much it is like this Year Zero is The Joker's True Story The Red Hood Gang whose leader's true identity was never revealed anymore and the Killing Joke, you ask is how the Joker said "sometimes I remember one way, sometimes another if I have to one past... I prefer it to be multiple choice" and that story of Batman knowing the Joker's secret identity, maybe he just thinks he knows the Joker's real name, when in fact the name he got is actually fake or a invention that The Joker created to tease him, remembering that he said it took him a week to find out.
