Well I feel like I definitely didn’t talk about as much as I wanted because it was such an emotional song and a few things I noticed after while editing so just ganna add them here! -I did realize that the beginning sound snippet was from Deja Vu -This music video was so beautifully shot with the lighting and warm/cooler colors, especially with Mingi and Jongho -Mingi sounded absolutely amazing with his raspy singing tone -Wooyoung with that lead up to chorus is such a nice touch -Seonghwa and San killed the chorus -Jongho with the vocals were so light but powerful and gave the song that extra something at the end -Yunho, I’m in love with this man’s falsetto -Yeosang brings so much to every song with his deeper rich tone and really mixes/contrasts so well with everyone else’s -Hongjoong. First the black hair is everything. Also lovedddd the switch off with him and Mingi, the flow was great -I think this was the first video I saw from them where they don’t have a full group choreo or anything which made since for the song but thought it was interesting -That melody at the end reminds me so much of wave how it starts out/ends Haha thanks for reading if you did😂 thought I’d just include some after thoughts
Turbulence is such a masterpiece, I highly suggest you to react to a live version too because it's even more beautiful. And btw yes, the melody at the end of the song is indeed Wave
Turbulence is a such a special song, I still remember the goosebumps I got when I first heard it. Their songs are so easy to relate to, they write about emotions and struggles we all experience. As much as I love Ateez going off with their hype songs and crazy choreo, there really is something special about their slower, emotional songs!
I guess Turbulence made every atiny cry at some point. Also can't wait for you to listen to their b-sides, I think you will really love Not Too Late & Be With You. I'm not that much into slower or ballad type songs but theirs are just sooooo good

Something about the desperation in Jongho’s tone when he’s singing ‘is anyone listening? Can someone embrace me’ always gets the tears FLOWING omg, what a master vocalist that man is. The end buildup with Hongjoong rapping over the chorus ‘a rough night… cold wind… embrace me more’ Jongho high note, and then ending the song with the opening melody of WAVE? A song about overcoming tough obstacles (waves) together??! Yeah, it had me sobbing on first listen ngl LOL. Hoping you can react to some live stages of Turbulence, vocals always on 110% with these guys!
Haha I know right that’s the part that gets me every time. The ending was honestly so perfect. I loved the extra buildup with Hongjoong’s rap cause it was really like a release after for the song. Definitely wanna see a live of this song👌🏼
I really feel your reaction, it was mine, too. Every time I listend to Turbulence I cry like a baby 😂 but I love this song. Also it’s such a different vibe from Ateez, yeah, they have slow songs etc. but this song has a special place in my heart. ❤
Hahaa yeah it really hits you and I think it’s so relatable that it can appeal to so many people. I haven’t even gotten to any of their bsides just the title tracks/MVs but I know for sure this is ganna be a lasting favorite of mine

That high note from Jongho and San together at the end always gives me chills down my spine. I remember watching them last year at MAMA and that performance, with San and Jongho at the center back to back, Jongho bending and San looking up while hitting those high notes always, always gives me chills istg

Turbulence is such a great song i also get emotional whenever i listen to it. This song gives sad, peaceful, hopeful vibes.... Mingi's comeback and his fix on, the lyrics i cried like a child 😭💙
Ah no worries, this song made every single Atiny cry at some point. I would also like to point out that they released the song end of 2021, when everyone was just so tired and depressed because of the pandemic and the consequences it had (and still has). This is such a comforting song in that it tells you that it’s ok to feel what you feel but that there is hope. You might not know what to do and what you will become but that is okay 😌 Turbulence and One day at a time are my comfort songs and just make me feel emotional but filled with hope for the future.
This one makes me emotional every time. I think that the combination of the song, the lyrics and our knowledge of how the members are makes this song more meaningful. One thing that I absolutely love from this group is that they are not afraid to be vulnerable in front of people. They acknowledge that everyone going through tough times especially when it comes to ourselves and to some, these can be really hard and painful. I also love that in their songs, there is alwasy hope. There is always a sentiment that no matter how low someone may feel, there is a way forward. It doesn't have to be an end.
100% agree. That really shows how much of an artist they all are that they can write and express that feeling but also have it relate to so many people who are going through something too. I do love that even when it’s something like this they do still have the symbolization of hope whether it be in the actual lyrics or the colors/visuals they choose to use. They’re definitely one of the best(:
Loved your reaction, that's how I reacted the first time I saw this video and the lyrics too, it just hits hard in the heart. I think it's a song that everyone should listen to because in this times this type of feelings are very common, as a person on her 20's I go though that too and very often so this song really makes me calm and makes me realize that it's okay and that everyone have their times. This song too is one of my faves of ateez, it's a shared top 3 with mist and fever (b-sides), I think that you have the same taste as me so I'm sure you're gonna love those 2 b-sides! This is for sure a song everyone should hear even if you aren’t a fan in general I feel like anyone could really relate and feel it. I remember a snippet of fever from the guide and it was another one I was excited to hear so going to be getting to album listens soon!(: That’s so sweet! Thanks so much, I’ve been honestly loving getting into ATEEZ’s music as well as learning more about them and they’ve climbed up to be a top group for me so fast and i think it’s only been alittle over a month since I first found them but dude it feels so much longer haha they’ve definitely made days better and they’re going to be a lasting group(:
@@KaileeDanielle Yes this song is really really unique, and it shows how versatile Ateez is too, Turbulence is also very special because Mingi said that he wrote his rap expressing how he felt during his hiatus! Fever is a gem, it's in the Fever Part 1 album the one that have Inception and Thanxx in it. I'm looking forward to your album listenings then! You're gonna love them, until this day there isn't one song of Ateez that I don't like, it's incredible. Definitely ganna be checking out the live, we’ll see how well we can hold in the emotions for that one😂 I feel like so many people can relate and resonate with the meaning/feel of the song that it really just gets you and you can’t not appreciate it. Seonghwa was getting to me idk just knowing that he did have a lot of troubles with self confidence and everything and relating to that really got to me and makes me really see how genuine all of them are when they put in the effort to spread the message to be different and yourself. This is definitely one that’s ganna stay in my favorites(:
