My heart absolutely breaks for the 9-year-old especially reading that she was holding then dropped her 8-month-old sibling. Even though she's so young she tried to save her sibling and still couldn't. I can't imagine how awful her survivor's guilt must be after that specific part of this experience.
It was probably for the best, too; she might not have made it to the side had she not.. I couldn't imagine the amount of rage, sadness, and confusion she must be feeling
That's not really what the news said though? She was holding her while in the car (normal occurence really) and then dropped her when she fell out of the car (duh). It doesn't say that she helped the other child try to escape after (or before) that, only that she escaped herself Unless I missed something

I can't blame her, but in the wake of such a horror I can imagine she might blame herself anyway. It's so sad.
Putting myself in her shoes, my brother was this age when I was 10, so close enough. If that had happened to him then...I'd be a different man, that's for sure.
This is why, as a Christian, I have told other Christians that the fear mongering they do is gross and unchristianly. Of course I think you should teach other people about the Bible, but some people seem to think that screaming about how everyone is going to hell right now and how everything is a sign from above is gonna help. If you’re a good Christian, it doesn’t matter when the world ends. And I’ve even been called a “fake Christian” for saying this.
So true In islam the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said, even if a man knows that the world is going to end in the evening but he has a baby plant in his hand, let him plant it Meaning don't stop living and working on your dreams and intentions just because the end is near And there is also a saying that everyone will have their own day of reckoning, Meaning death, even if we aren't there for the big end, we are all going to die which is what we need to prepare ourselves for, we don't need doomsday
@cosas_de_gatos As a Christian myself, I agree. People like this are the reason Christians have a bad reputation. The apocalypse will happen but we never will know when. Not even Jesus knows when. All these conspiracy theories about the Apocalypse happening are stupid and people who believe them seriously need mental health. Saying people won’t be saved or are going to hell won’t solve anything.
One person, a 9 year old girl, survived. That’s horrible. She will live the rest of her life with memories of watching her mother kill her father and her infant sister die on the freeway. She will never get the rest of her childhood.

It’s like whenever people become famous they get hit with some superiority where they think that they can do whatever they want and get caught being a pedo
That is actually the most traumatic, horrific situation for anyone to go through. I hope that 9 year old ends up somewhere safe and is able to get as much care, love, support and help they need. Fucking awful.
And it’s sad how during these types of peoples childhood, all the signs of a mental disorder are ignored and then everybody is surprised when they become a criminal 😢
What adds to the utter incomprehensibilty of this is the fact that this person is an ASTROLOGY influencer- i.e astrology while not being scientific is still LITERALLY all about tracking & analyzing the position & movements of celestial objects like stars & planets & the sun& moon etc- astrology is LITERALLY about the movement of the astronomical bodies & their positions during time/place of birth etc...HOW IN HECK can you not know what a freaking ECLIPSE is when thats LITERALLY YOUR JOB??

Can you imagine being the person who accidentally struck the infant with a car after seeing a 9 year old and an infant pushed out of a vehicle, would never get over it. This is horrendous
I’d never get in a car again. That’s lifelong trauma. Especially if you were a parent of a young child yourself, you’d never let them get in a car either. People often don’t think about what a snowball effect trauma can have. It’s quite possible that this woman has negatively affected two or three generations of a family she never even met
The fact that the 9 year old dropped her sister into traffic when she got pushed... I can't even imagine the trauma that would inflict on someone as they grow up. Hoping she gets the help she needs and can be taken care of.

Back before the Internet, when people went into psychosis, the content of the psychosis was based on their religion. Could still be extremely violent (rarely) because most mainstream religions have at least some violent rhetoric that could be clung to. Now that we have social media and conspiracy theories they also influence people who find themselves in psychosis. That's why this new mainstream conspiracy misinformation crap is dangerous. When women become violent in psychosis it's usually extremely twisted "selfless" intent meaning they kill those they love to spare them from whatever they believe is about to happen. We've seen it over and over again thankfully it's rare. But I'm curious to know if underlying narcissism plays a role.
Solar eclipses really aren't rare, it's only them being perfectly lined up from your perspective that's rare, you could absolutely go all around the globe watching near-total solar eclipses every few months
My partner loves to travel, and we're interested in doing this on occasion, actually. I enjoy finding new ways to photograph time lapses of the environment and shadows as the light changes, so it's something we've done and mutually enjoy.
The 9 year old daughter that survived will need major mental therapy after being thrown out of the car on the highway. Godspeed baby girl. You have millions of us cheering for your recovery and well-being.
Not just that, but having possibly seen her mother murder a father figure (don't know if bio or not), but also _seeing her infant sibling get hit by a car and die in the middle of a freeway._ And not just that, but the psychological stress of having to mourn the person who betrayed you and tried to murder you, because the murderer was her _mom._ And being only nine, even if her mother had shown abusive tendencies before, she's still young enough for her mom to be one of the most important and loved people in her life, if not _the_ most important and loved. This little girl is going through one of the worst situations a person can go through. I pray that she has family or someone close that can take her in, and that she has every ounce of support, mental and physical health care, safety, and love that she can ever need after this. All children deserve that, but it's rare. So I hope that she does get that, because my god, she's already been through enough.
She also dropped the infant sibling (not her fault who the fuck could hold on to them in that scenario) resulting in her siblings death like so many layers of fucked up Ness happening ther she totally gona blame herself
it's so weird to think about how at the very same moment i was sitting with my loved ones, watching the eclipse with joy and wonder, somewhere on the planet a woman was throwing her children onto freeways and stabbing her bf over it. a completely natural event that has happened multiple times, and people are locking themselves in dark rooms and breaking down like it was the armageddon. spiritual psychosis is genuinely terrifying
Even from some country folk the worst you got was a funny call to 911 about "someone turning off the sun" What this lady did reads like some drug induced scitzo episode... Like jesus wth.
It's just plain ol' psychosis. That, and unfettered access to the internet (social media especially) can make for some bad situations. You'd also have to be mentally ill in the first place to react so violently to a mere solar eclipse, which she quite clearly was.
I watched this thinking i was okay. Then my 9 month old woke up and i broke down just looking at his little face 😭 i cant even imagine the terror so many people felt.
this is exactly why its important to not troll people online or to tell them the key-yogurt-stick sentence just for fun, u never know what the person is going through on the other side imagine if it was your sister or brother that are just new on the internet and dont know much, and people start telling them this and they end up believing it

Also there have been these conspiracy nutsacks since the dawn of time the internet just makes it easier for the crazy to spead. On Monday, a girl I know told everyone that it was unnatural the there first were earthquakes, then a solar eclipse. Everyone started explaining to her that it was completely natural and that there were specific patterns for the eclipse. Someone even accused her of believing everything on Tiktok, and her defense was "I saw hundreds of tiktoks saying the same thing".
I don't know if I could blame her at that point, it's a whack excuse but it's also understandable that you would believe it given the circumstances. It's mostly worrying it even got so far and that ppl do not know to question the validity of their sources.
The surviving child has already experienced more trauma in her life than most people will ever face. She needs a strong support system surrounding her with love.

The worst part if you ask me is the abhorrently cruel manner in which she tried to kill her children. She shoved her two kids out of the car and made the nine year old hold onto the eight month old. Literally the entire time the solar eclipse was going on a few days ago my mom and one of her friends just kept on and on about the end times. She was also afraid of that alert text thing that happened awhile back that you mentioned. I just shrugged it off, rolled my eyes and kept telling her to just enjoy the eclipse but of course anything that happens in this world whether it be inclement weather, solar/lunar eclipses, etc is a sign of the end times.
Solar eclipses are really not even rare. It's where it is darkest is what makes it "rare." Any astrology influencer that doesn't know that needs a new profession
I’m glad you focused on the heart of the issue with fear being weaponized for profit/clicks. It’s nothing new but it’s taken on a completely new life recently with video content. It’s true for TikTok. It’s true for traditional news. And it’s very very dangerous.
It’s crazy my mother was scared about the eclipse even tho we live in Europe so we wouldn’t even see it. It just shows how much fear social media and especially hate it can bring
Goes to show how important critical thinking is. People think they are critical but they aren't. Everyone believe in something irrational even I. Astrology, religion, etc these are all evils of society

I feel absolutely awful for the girl who survived. After dropping her sibling and then seeing them ran over... just to know your mother later died in a crash. Then that she killed your father... She'll need therapy for life.
@@ricciardilol4406 It's not a hot take, I feel like everyone should have a little will to live. Just because you have to experience so much trauma doesn't mean your life isn't worth living (shortened for the people skimming through replies) Also, this isn't something you can just brush off either. Just to make it clear, nobody can just "live" with this kind of trauma but that doesn't mean they should end it all
That poor surviving 9 year old. She’s going to blame herself for the death of that baby & it wasn’t her fault. Even her murderous mother wasn’t willing to live with the pain of that kind of guilt. Everything she ever felt about her home & family has been ripped away from her. How do you comfort yourself when your comforter person (mum) is the reason you’re alone in the world now? Jesus Christ that poor kid
It's crazy how there is a large subset of humans whose concept of reality can be changed at any time by just hearing people say things. No critical thinking, no looking up other information, no fact checking, no conferring with friends and family, etc.
this is why teaching children that they must believe god is real and that hell is the punishment for not doing so, and that "faith" is their primary tool for doing so, is child abuse.
Unfortunately this is what happens when people base their lives around a 2000+ year old book instead of using common sense, history facts, and scientific evidence
Not only will this mess up the 9 year old who will probably feel like it's their fault for the rest of their life, imagine how traumatized a random passerby driver would be after hitting a child and it's not even their fault. Absolutely horrifying.
Assuming how people might feel, projecting our own weaknesses and ignorancy upon others to express our disgust about a situation is very foolish onto itself. Some people are way more resilient than others, I don't see how your comment or the many many others stating the same thing helps to anything. At contrary I know people that would be pretty pissed off by hearing someone saying their daughter, niece or cousin is just so helpless that they will never recover from a situation like that. It's atrocious, awful that much is clear. But really what's with all that crap on top about thinking for others and almost guaranteeing how they will feel in the future. What the hell you or the others know about these people's will to overcome challenges.
@@thesocialmediagameYeah not true r/Im14AndThisIsDeep. My dad accidentally ran over a kid that slid his scooter under my dad’s car and SOMEHOW the kid lived but he is still very traumatized by it today. We keep in touch with him and he still talks about how terrifying and painful it was. That was almost 20 years ago. Kids might not be “helpless” but they sure as heck can’t fend for themselves when THEIR MOTHER THROWS THEM OUT OF A CAR TO DIE ON THE FREEWAY!
God Bless that poor girl, may she find peace and hopefully able to move on from this traumatic event. May whatever love ones she has(that are sane and have common sense) comfort her and care for her.
I was a little bothered by it. This video gets a warning but I see videos everyday with actual footage of things that doesn't get a tag but this video describing it does? RU-vid is horribly broken.
Stories of parents who harm/kill their own children always get me. It is unnatural to the order of life, just wrong and always gives me a sick feeling. As a parent you’re supposed to be the person those kids depend on. They should feel the most safe with you. Ugh I’m so upset! Rest in peace to all the victims, and healing to that little girl and driver.
My son is currently with his mom who is one of these spiritualists/astrologists and it terrifies me so much because of what she believes in (Think ancient aliens type beat)
does she do anything weird, or are you literally just upset because she believes theres more life than just us in an endless universe with billions and billions and billions of galaxies...
@emsersbee528 I could have explained better, I believe in Aliens myself but she believes in an entire society of underground beings living underneath one of our states cities (only known by the Freemasons apparently) and weirdly specific alien groups I've seen thrown around spiritual groups such as Arcturian. I myself am open to believing in aliens and certain secret society's but I'm also gonna be real with myself about things.
@@emsersbee528 I'm guessing by "ancient aliens" they mean stuff like believing aliens helped built the pyramids. Not just someone believing there is probably extraterrestrial life out there, which doesn't seem absurd to me.
When people talk about the olden days (antiquity and such) they are allways like "hah look at those iliterate idiots shitting in the streets. they belived the earth is flat!". And then you look around and realize. being literate and having all the knowlede in the world at your isposal isn't helping in some cases either.
I hope they get the help they're going to need to process all of the horror of it... breaks my heart as a father, I have a hard time understanding how a person could do such a thjng...
How awful for her and her family. No one goes through the torturous process of giving birth and nurtures a child for a decade just to throw her babies on the freeway and end herself. Sounds like a really tragic case of postpartum psychosis, which can happen to anyone no matter how peaceful and law-abiding.
