@@ofenomeno1381on paper USA and Columbia are about the same level in regards to talent. Even if Columbia has better players USA is talented enough to give them a challenge the gap isn’t that big that they should be losing 5 - 1.

The usa team has only one example of a "competitive team" (México, and of course México isn't a good team since 10 years ago), if you truly think that one or two good players of the usa can beat good teams out of the stupid Concacaf, you seriously need to learn more about football
All I have to say is CONMEBOL is light years away from Concacaf. And wait in Copa America, those going to be starting line ups not bench. US keep practicing you are on the right path. Simply Colombia’s level is in another different level.
The thing with James is that he is always much better in the national team than in his clubs, so James always plays well in the national team regardless of age.
Let me give you some context on Colombia line up Arias(RW): plays for Fluminense in Brazil defending Libertadores champs and Mvp biggest prospecf in South Ame. Mojica(LB): Plays in Spain Uribe(DM): Usee to play for Porto recently moved to Middle East for more money. Davinson(CB): used to play for Tottenham and now plays for Galatasaray Turkish giants. Rios(CM): plays for Palmeira, soon to be linked to Europe Sinesterra(RW): plays in Premier League, being scouted for bigger teams. Duran(ST): Aston Villa young prospect Borre(ST): used to play for Atl Madrid, Frankfurt, River Plate, now plays in Brazil for a big club. And many more talented players that are ready to be put in soon like Asprilla and Mier who is soon to be Colombias main Goal Keeper for World Cup
Arias was classified as the best player in South America last year and probably this year too. Lerma and Muñoz play for Crystal Palace Lucumi is the starting center back of the Bologna Italian revelation team Mojica shouldn't even be the starter because it should be Deiver Machado who plays for Lens Nowadays, Colombia is in the top 3 in Conmebol due to play style and talent, and the day Yasser and the other young players explode, the level will only rise further.
The US on paper is actually pretty good too. In 6 years of Berhalter we've never played up to that though. Any other nation would have fired him by now. A very poor tactical coach that good teams like Colombia routinely expose. The US would have a hard time with Colombia anyway, but we've got no chance while we handicap ourselves with terrible coaching.
Last night you guys were atrocious, after Colombia's 3rd goal the USMNT just flat out quit, Colombia just figured out Berhalter's tactics, it reminded me of the USA vs Netherlands game in Qatar, you guys are better than that, but you've got that bald idiot in charge, here in England we have a similar problem with Gareth Southgate, I actually sometimes refer to Berhalter as the American Southgate, we've got a very good squad and should be contenders for the Euros, but we're not, we won't win the Euros, the first time we come up against anyone half decent we'll lose, thing is you guys are better than what we saw last night, much like us in England we're not even saying it needs to be an expensive, world class manager, just somebody who's got a clue, Colombia on the other hand in my mind are a contender for the Copa
I was at the game yesterday. It was an awesome experience. It was very entertaining. Here’s what I saw on the game; 1- It was a home game for Colombia 2- once Colombia scored the 1st two goals they fell asleep. It felt like they didn’t even go all out 3-Colombia’s bench in the 2nd half did a number on us. Players like Carrascal, Sinistierra, and Quintero changed they game up 4-we committed to many mistakes on our end of the field That’s the ball game right there
As a Colombian, I have always thought that the United States has the potential to be among the best in the Americas. All that is missing is a good coach who can discover a soccer identity and propose a soccer project over time, but no less important, there must be more support from its own citizens for their national team and for this sport.
Hopefully, this serves as a wake-up call for Concacaf teams to start playing against tougher teams to get better, instead of the petty sorry teams they typically have been playing against for the past 3 decades.
If you go player by player I think it’s pretty even Columbia has a slight edge. What really separates them is that Columbia has a good structure, a solid manager and elite mentality. That’s what puts them a level above the USA imo. USA lacks all those things and that’s mainly down to their manager.
@@rlubin9356 "Slight edge" come on man🤣😂🤣, you have some good players but almost all of theirs are really good, bench included also USA team defense is like a sinking ship, no communication, no coordination, childish mistakes and all of this is exposed in this beating.

Mckennie would start alongside Lerma as he is slightly better than Rios but Rios is young. Cardoso does not start. Robinson does not start as Mojica and even Deiver Machado from Lens is better. Richard is a good CB, but Colombia have Sanchez, Lucumi (star of bologna going to the ucl) Yerson Mosquera from villareal, Mina from cagliari and Cuesta from Genk. I saw the jerseys, I changed channel back to UFC prelims. Every one if our national teams are all about the lgbtqstx agenda. The world must think we're all freakin' non hetero sexuals here. I can't support them anymore. 😢
No way. It is simply a really bad management (Like when you are the president of the most powerful country in the world and keep on committing crimes to enrich yourself) that makes it look bad as hell.
Colombia is going to surprise everyone in this Copa America because they are underestimating it too much, I am going to give you some advice, watch Conmebol because you are going to be very excited when Brazil only beats you by one goal or you can get a draw, but the reality is that today you have many more chances against Brazil than against Argentina, Colombia or Uruguay
The worst part is that it’s very unlikely & the federation will say “we’re not that bad, let’s keep Gregg”, I wish we’d get group so Gregg is fired but ironically I don’t see the USA losing to Panama (who has terrible defense) & Bolivia (who’s just bad in general when they’re not at home). The Uruguay match might be bad though (maybe not too much since they’re probably gonna rest their better players once they’re winning 2-0 since at that point they already passed the group stages).
@@bryangonzales4198: Bolivia is only good in La Paz. They lose everywhere else. In the WC 2026 elimination, Uruguay is an average team on the road 1-1-1.
Not everything is the coach's fault (although I think they should bring in a foreigner), we have to change the squad of players, reinforce the defense which is a disaster, the last two goals were practically given away and the goalkeeper lives in Narnia and of course CHANGE THOSE T-SHIRTS WITH RAINBOW
bro without disrespecting Mexican football, but most of the players who scored the goals play in the Brazilian league, the Brazilian league has been light years ahead of the Mexican league, and can be considered much better than many European leagues in terms of competitiveness, arias- Fluminense (libertadores champion) borre (international) Richard Rios (Palmeiras) James Rodrigues (São Paulo)
Bro is mad because they scored a bicycle kick and he said the bicycle kick was not all that that it was so trash but we’re not gonna talk about Messi’s bicycle kick when his hands were on the floor and he kicked the ball😂😂
Rafael Borré is underrated. I noticed this guy when he was playing for Frankfurt back in 2022 and scored a screamer against Barcelona in the UEL quarter final, scored against West Ham in the UEL semi final and tied the game against Rangers in the UEL final leading to Frankfurt's Europa League win in penalties. Absolutely astounding! 💯
Man it took me 3 hours to get to college station from Dfw because of traffic on i20, and that's with speeding. Luckily, it was 2 hours 30 on the way back, loved the atmosphere, especially from the Brazilians
I am from Argentina I watched and played football my whole life. My take on this is that the USA finally has competitive-level players. I watched the game against Colombia. From my perspective, it was clear that there were coaching issues. The way the defense is organized, and most of all the tactical proposal by the coach is horrible. He Is not minimally harnessing the talent of their players. Just hire an Argentinean coach as most of the Copa America teams, or an European Coach. I love this Copa America format with all the teams from the continent. It is very good to play with Mexico and the USA and the rest of the best CONCACAF teams. I am in favor of CONMEBOL CONCACAF integration. If the Copa América becomes much more interesting with this integration, imagine if the Copa Libertadores were played including clubs from the USA and Mexico (The best clubs from Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and the USA). With time it would be a great show to compete with the Champions League.
The disrespect and ignorance in this video made me think anybody can talk about soccer so I'll do a RU-vid channel. Thanks for that. Vamos Colombia! 🇨🇴

Colombia is a very tough team, but GGG still needs to go. Long overdue for a change in management. His halftime recommendation was to “cross more” are you fucking kidding me
The brilliance of this 'bicycle kick' lies in the complexity of the play. Despite the ball not being at the ideal height, the Colombian player executed a flawless move, turning it into a stunning goal.

I was there live, the broadcast doesn’t do it justice. It was 70-30 Columbia fans at least. It was like a huge party for them, dancing and singing an hour or so before the game. They drowned out all of our chants. There isn’t another nation IN THE WORLD where they would be the away team in their own nations capital. I hate it. The product on the field was even worse, they genuinely look disinterested in the 2nd half. The defense and Matt Turner were awful. They couldn’t handle the pressure from Colombia. #BerhalterOut
