Great reaction! To me this is one of those songs that prove how weirdly magical music is. Basically everyone who hears it will agree it’s great, but why? What makes it so universally, obviously good?? It’s genius, magic 🙏
I agree with you that this was a great live performance. My personal feeling is that 95% of live performances (though fun to watch) are not as good musically as the studio versions (especially if you don't know the song already), but there are certainly some exceptions, this once for example.
I love this song. Strange that he changed the words though, from "make foolish people do" to "make foolish lovers do". I first heard this song from the "Wild at Heart" movie soundtrack from 1990, and the line was "strange what desire will make foolish people do". Interesting. Thanks for your reaction!

Love his studio work however, he is another one of those performers who is better! Also, he’s got followers everywhere, and a great sense of humor! Do yourself a favor if you get the chance, and go see him!
