Another way to mate at 5:52 after Rxf2 is Qe8+ (which cannot be blocked by black's rook or else queen takes is checkmate) forcing Kxg7 so one last sac from Tal in this alternative attack. So then the winning move is Nh5+ for a nice mating net forcing Kh6 into Qg6++. The extra sac and involvement of all remaining pieces in the attack would've made Tal proud.
Jeffrey Pajarillo Tal lost to Anand when he was no longer young and Carlsen I believe is certainly amongst my 3 all time best players...Carlsen will be my fav against Tal as he not only is an exceptionally talented player but also remarkably consistent in his play (also all of us know that today human players use various engines and AI for training so I do believe today's super GMs knowledge base of chess games, tactics,etc... have increased exponentially than players of previous eras)
I thought the same every time I watch Surens videos. Simply to fast (both voice and moves), just annoying to follow. Agadmator is the best example how good chess analysis for the vast crowd should be made: direct video contact, good english, reasonable analyses without to many lines, great chessboard and pictures of the players, with interesting intro always full of chess history facts.
Agreed. Agadmator’s presentational style is far superior and much easier to follow, which is why I won’t be subscribing to this particular chess channel. Mikhail Tal is my favourite Russian chess player. Such a shame that he was beset by health problems and died too young.
