This was an absolutely incredible performance by Journey and the one and only “The Voice” Steve Perry! I thoroughly enjoyed this performance and am truly mind blown by this legendary band!
Thank you guys so much for watching! Just wanted to post here to let you guys know that there will be no new videos coming out for the next few weeks. I have a summer internship away from my home for the next few weeks and will not be able to film any new videos for you guys. But after that, I will be getting some new videos posted for you guys! Thank you for understanding and for your support! See you then! ❤
About 6 months ago the Billboard Hot 100 did a fan vote Steve Perry was Voted the best Singer in Rock History, he got 67% of the votes if you have not heard the rest of the Songs from this Houston Concert you have to listen to them all of the Songs are Great.
Wow! This truly shows how amazing he really is! The fact that he hasn’t really been in the public eye for a while, besides releasing his album “Traces,” yet he was still voted #1 for “Best Singer in Rock History.” And 67% of the votes! That says something!!! He truly is incredible!!! Thank you so much for watching!!! ❤
Thank you so much! I try to keep my videos as pure and authentic as possible! I’m so glad that this video could bring a smile to your face!!! Thank you so much for watching!!! ❤
Look at the stage design, Steve's voice, Neal the great guitar, Jonathan the wonderful piano, Ross on the perfect bass and Steve Smith with brilliant drums, the whole thing creates an orchestra, the sound is incredible. This song is so difficult and Steve performs it with his whole body. The "Escape Tour live Houston" was simply brilliant. The band was so incredibly well coordinated, everyone was perfect and you can't get enough of it. "Lights/Stay awhile" live Tokyo was also great. In general, I always found Journey live better, also check out "Girl can't help it" or "I'll be alright without you" live, and there's so much more. Steve, the voice, was, is and remains the greatest.
Steve’s performance here is truly incredible!!! Some of the best vocals I’ve ever heard from him!! Sadly, I’ve already heard the songs you suggested. Would you still like me to react to them? If so, I’ll add them to my list!!! Thank you so much for watching!!! ❤
One of the best live vocals I've ever heard. "Through bitter tears and wounded years" is a pretty amazing line. No one can do that. Well, Steve Perry can, but no one else.
You should check out Journey Wheel in the Sky live in Osaka another great example of Steve Perry's voice you can hear you well on this reaction but can hardly hear the music???
Thank you so much for the suggestion!! I’ll add it to my list! Also, sorry about the audio. This is the only video I posted that I did not check the audio levels on it, so thank you for pointing it out! I’ll try to fix it in the next video. Thank you so much for watching!!! ❤
Your reactions are the same as mine when I listen to/watch this video (and I've seen it a lot... own it, in fact). What Steve Perry does with this song is really mind-blowing, to be honest. It's just off the wall crazy that he was able to sing like this LIVE... and with no auto-tune. It just keeps getting better and better as it goes along doesn't it? That falsetto part near the end just leaves you stunned with your mind asking "WHATTTT... HOW????" You're right... there really are no words. Neal Schon, is a legend and one of THE best ever (and in my opinion highly underrated). Great job with the video!
Thank you so much!! Steve Perry’s voice is truly a once in forever voice!! The things he can do with his voice live with absolutely no auto-tune is truly mind blowing!!! I completely agree with you. Every time I hear the falsetto part at the end, I think the same exact thing! Neal Schon is absolutely incredible!!! Love his playing!!! Thank you so much for watching!!! ❤
Hi! I love Steve Perry too! You should try “ Still They Ride “ Live in Japan ‘83 ( I am actually from Japan! ) Steve had a flu and high fever that night but he still sounded so amazing and emotionally beautiful!
Love your channel and love your reactions. I am so happy to see the legacy of both Journey and Steve Perry rock on in my opinion all the music is timeless and and can still be relatable to the current times. Keep doing such a great job and good luck on your internship see you when you get back. Can I possible recommend Winds of March Hard to choose a favorite song in the Journey/Steve catalog but this is a great one (just my thoughts )
Thank you so much for the wishes on my internship! It was very fun and I will be making a video on it at some point! Thank you so much for the suggestion!! I’ll add it to my list!!! Thank you so much for watching!!! ❤
Thanks for the shoutout girl!! There is another song I have to suggest to you this is Steve pre Journey . It’s a song called It’s over written by Forrest McDonald. I’ll post a link!!
You’re very welcome!! I’d love to react to this!! I’ve been looking for some pre-Journey Steve Perry songs to react to! I’ll definitely add it to the list!! I’ll wait for the link! Thanks for watching!!!❤
@@SherylsExpressiveEnterpr-ss5su here is the link. I posted it below but here it is again. The picture you see when it comes up is of Forrest McDonald he wrote the song. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ybj6-GsnVzw.htmlsi=NeH6bNtFiIZqQxST
I guess I react strongly to this song because it is the story of my childhood. So glad you heard this in your new headphones. Have you reacted to "Anyway" yet? It's so bittersweet.
Hi Sheryl! I'm from Brazil and I'd like to see you react to Jeff Lynne from ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) singing Living thing, live. You will love! I loved your emotional reaction.
Did you do one for You Better Wait, Still She Cries, Trial by Fire, It's Just the Rain, Stay Awhile, Raised on Radio & the Eyes of a Woman? These are some of favorites of theirs...
The group, Neal Schon, lost the best part of Journey when they pressured Steve to make a choice! Steve's singing was effortless, but no matter how good Arnel is in being close to Steve's voice, he has to put alot of effort into it...
That is very true. Steve was and is the best part of Journey! Arnel is very good, but he is no Steve Perry. Steve is truly a once in forever talent that we will never see again, ever! Thank you so much for watching!!! ❤
