You are such an inspiration! Thanks for your generosity in making these videos! Your enthusiasm tickles my heart and I love being witness to your creative play.🥰
Ah Denise, this piece has nostalgia oozing from it. It brought me to my grannys garden and, oddly, to TS Eliot - "Footfalls echo in the memory Down the passage which we did not take Towards the door we never opened Into the rose-garden." Strange thing, the human mind, you never know what will trigger it to release fragments of the past, or why it makes those connections. Thanks for another magical journey! 💗 from Scotland 😊
I'm so glad you kept the flowers abstract. ❤ I've seen a lot of artists outline the petals to provide more definition. In this piece, the soft edges enhance the composition, in my opinion😊.
I love today's abstract. A hail storm came through and beat up a few flowers. Baby's Breath and other new buds were popping after the storm . I love the new stencil technique. I went to the Botanic Gardens a few weeks ago. Hail had beaten them up pretty good and yet there were new poppies among the damaged.
Today's new word, brought to us by DL is skeed. LOL this is a beautiful layout. Those colors are so yummy together. I saw that video Shawn did on the flower stamping. I would be skeed too. 😅😅😊😅❤❤❤
Love this Denise… feeling floral as usual and will spend a fun evening painting along with you….I kept all my art and craft supplies even though digital art and photography took up all my spare time and I was happy to find some Plaid decorator blocks that I used to stamp on tshirts for my stepdaughters…of course I have some flowers stamps and will use them tonight…I bought these in 1995….🤣
Denise, love this color palette. I was so inspired I had to give it a try. So fun. I used the supplies I had. I drew the leaves with Posca pens and loosely painted the flowers. Thanks for taking us through the process. Your videos have really helped me with abstract painting. Thanks so much.
So pretty 😍. Love the colours and layout 😍. Great to see the kuretake watercolour paints, been a while. Love how you work your magic with them and then bring in the delicate layers using acrylic. Beautiful 😍 🙏🏻😍
Sooo lovely! Summery, dreamy, it almost has a bit of memory-esque feeling to it! 🌸 I love how you share your inspiration and flow, and experiment with different techniques to keep that positive creativity going!🎉
@@2lilowlsstudio I will surely create a book after watching your video lessons, though I realize there's so much things needed if you want to make a similar (or even better) book than Dina Wakley... Paper is the most expensive thing... but we will see. I'm happy to browse through your supplies list and see what you're using. Your books are really wonderful.
@@luzartworksThey are a little more money to create your own - but the Dina Wakley ones are gone here! You can get creative with what you include. I love the books I made… the feeling of working in a book you made yourself is amazing! ☺️
So pretty Denise! Love the colors! I had trouble with the flower masks as well. Shawn said to soak them in warm water and let dry. She also said she sometimes has painted them with matte medium first. I haven't tried it yet but going to.
