This is my video series about Abstract Linear Algebra. We will discuss abstract vector spaces, abstract inner products, the change-of-basis matrix,different bases, polynomial spaces, and so on. I hope that it will help everyone who wants to learn about it.

9:14 - sure we want! Is a resulting orthonormal basis determined by the order we pick the vectors in the algorithm?

Yes, it is!

Would different choices of bases necessarily give different ONB’s or is it possible for different bases that this algorithm results in the same ONB?
@brightsideofmaths
@brightsideofmaths 4 месяца назад
Different bases could still give the the same ONB.

9:08 ok, now I want to know what you would do if we actually just say "no we don't want to see examples"? I mean, you have already created the next video for that, soo..
@brightsideofmaths
@brightsideofmaths 4 месяца назад
I'd delete it.

@@brightsideofmaths hm, seem a bit excessive and I guess you would then have to change the numbering for the following videos you have also already made

I guess in the future I have to voice out more that I am interested in the topics ^^

@@brightsideofmaths You should definitely show examples, regardless of what people say. Nothing beats working through concrete cases.

@@goldjoinery You are definitely right!
