Abstract Scallop Watercolour Tutorial from Essoldo Design Book 

I love this video! So calming to watch and your piece came out beautiful. I did this project a month ago, and used masking fluid to create the white lines. It allowed me to have more fun with creating the wet on wet scallops and not worry about the scallops blending into one another. I had just received a gorgeous set of granulating paint colors from White Nights in blues greens and purples. The colors blended so nicely together and it came out stunning (if I do say so myself) I’ve done 4 projects from her book that have come out really nice. I just saw another You Tuber showing how to frame art using ‘cradle boards’. I had never even heard of them, but they’re prefect for this type of art and really simple and inexpensive from Amazon. I think this is one of the best books out there for projects of abstract watercolors and there a LOT of them.

Beautiful, my scallops were not even close to even on a similar page. These are gorgeous and a smaller brush an excellent idea. You inspire me to try another attempt. This time with watercolor. Have a fun day!
