Totally agree. I’ll listen to anything Gelal plays on. This collaborative effort with Absurd makes total sense. Outstanding songs here.

Is Gelal with Absurd for good or was this just temporary?

From what I've gathered, Wolf's lineup of Absurd is just recording stuff, all live performances are with Hendrik's line up and Gelal isn't in it.

@@Wittemn Originally Hendrik reformed his own incarnation of Absurd to perform live when Wolf/Unhold's Absurd was inactive, but at this point they're basically two separate bands and they're on bad terms with each other. From Weltenfeind, "Since we received some requests for copies of “Schwarze Bande” we have been forced to make a statement. We are not associated with Hendrix’s band, featuring him and some mercenaries from Finland/Germany, etc. His claim to be the legit version of ABSURD by default is preposterous. He never wrote a single song for the band, nor was he our manager or whatsoever. Simply because he was a founding member legitimizes his appropriation of the band? Wolf is also a founding member! Apart from contributing a couple of lyrics, Hendrik was no part of ABSURD since 1999, then surprising us by reforming a still existing band. Either way, we won’t carry or distribute this representation of ABSURD (basically a cover band), nor does it affect our plans regarding upcoming releases."

2 Songs were previously released as a 7"EP and the remaining 3 songs will be bonus songs for another vinyl release, that's supposed to be out this year.
