The man who the companions used to say was the most sincere amongst them in combining knowledge and action. A legacy of scholarship, spirituality, and wisdom that spanned Madinah to Syria and beyond. #thefirsts #omarsuleiman #sahaba
As you mentioned, Abu Darda (RA) was the last Ansari to accept Islam. However, how is it possible that Salman Farsi (RA) found him constantly engaged in worship when he stayed at his home, which happened when the Prophet ﷺ just migrated to Madinah?
Asalam aleykum warahmatullahi, from my understanding is that Salman Al Farsi RA was still a slave and not living with the ansar during the battle of badr and uhud hence he didn’t participate and Abu Darda converted before Uhud, so only after Salman was free from slavery which was after uhud was he appointed to stay with Abu Darda who had already converted at the time. Alhamdulillah thank you and hope it helps to answer your question and May Allah forgive me if I’m wrong.
Abu Darda reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Verily, the angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge. The inhabitants of the heavens and earth, even the fish in the depths of the water, seek forgiveness for the scholar. The virtue of the scholar over the worshiper is like the superiority of the moon over the stars. The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets. They do not leave behind gold or silver coins, but rather they leave behind knowledge. Whoever has taken hold of it has been given an abundant share. Source: Sunan Abī Dāwūd 3641 Grade: Sahih
Abu Darda reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever defends the reputation of his brother, Allah will defend his face from the Hellfire on the Day of Resurrection.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 1931 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani

May Allah give us all hidaya to be steadfast on Islam. The dua that I already know but still I take from this biography is Allahumma hassanta khalaqi fahassin Khuluqi. To ask from Allah the way Abu Darda (RA) asked.

Murji'ah (Arabic: المرجئة, English: "Those Who Postpone"), also known as Murji'as or Murji'ites, were an early Islamic sect. Murji'ah held the opinion that God alone has the right to judge whether or not a Muslim has become an apostate. Consequently Muslims should practice postponement (ʾirjāʾ) of judgment on committers of major sins and not make charges of disbelief (’takfir’) or punish accordingly anyone who has professed Islam to be their faith. They also believed that good deeds or omission of them do not affect a person's faith, and a person who did no other act of obedience would not be punished in the afterlife as long as they held onto pure faith. They used to say that "disobedience does not harm faith as good deeds do not help with disbelief."[1] The members of the Murjite Order continue to adhere to this school.

It's interesting how abu darda was probably one of the nost unlikely people to accept islam and then he became one of the prophets closest friends. Before he was religious in idolworshipper and now he is a religious muslim
Sir does being a ca and working in a company is haram ... Bcoz we will be entering transactions like interest loan debenture etc ..... But we only record after that event happened and we didn't have any direct connection while that event happened... So, is it permisable in Islam to be a ca
Muslim (1598) narrated that Jaabir said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) cursed the one who consumes riba and the one who pays it, the one who writes it down and the two who witness it, and he said: they are all the same.
Just quit job immediately. Do astagfarullah. The chances you will be forgiven is very little. After quiting your job please go to bank. Get a loan and buy a house at 6.9 percent Apr
Alhamdulillah for allowing me to start day in learning about islam from Imam Omar. The stories of the Sahabah and our prophet Muhammad SAW are inspirational and I pray that I get at least a little piece of their Iman🙏🏽

I asked one Rabbi did he read the Surah Al Qahf do they study the Quran to have knowledge what the Quran says ? He said yes I did. So I asked do you have the same story in the Torah about Moses traveling with Khidr Aleyhisalaam? He said there is not such an event in the live of Prophet Moses . If there was such an event we Jews must have it recorded in our records. And I said then why it is in the Quran ? He said I have no idea .
