Thanks for taking good care of abu i like watching your videos and you were the first ro draw my attention to watch monkey as pets you are not abusing abu and i didn't not know that a monkey can grow old like Abu thanks once again for showing us the other side of a monkey life span

What kind of monkey is Abu? He is a little unusual. His snout is longer than most macaques. He resembles a baboon. Very pretty.

@@vaughndaroberts2867He’s a macaque. His species is called the Bear macaque, or stump-tail. It looks like they keep his “mane” cut back, so that may be what’s making his snout look longer.

It's very rare. In fact, this is one of the first that I've seen. Most are killed or abandoned at about 2 yrs old.

@cynthiascheinert8284 It's not rare. Many have older pet primates. You just choose to watch the channels with more of the infants. Try seeking out owners with adult primates pets. Ijs The only time they get returned is when they are uncontrollable due to lack of discipline or due to their own personal demeanor being to aggressive even with discipline.

The only reason baby monkey owners abandon their pet once they become too large is because they know they have abused the animal and once it grows up to be too large and strong means a danger of the animal attacking them in revenge. Nguyet knew she never mistreated Abu so she doesn‘t have to worry. She knows Abu loves her the way she loves him. That‘s only reason she is able to still have him Tbh the only thing I have seen in all of these videos on this channel that is concerning is the bipedal walk. It could be something he was forced to do way before Nguyet took him in but running around on two legs all the time hurts the animal in the long run.

I know of many adult monkeys that still live with their human moms and dads. It is possible.

They are all living in the United States. I follow some of those monkeys & their family. Check out "Our Life Adventures" they have 5 adult monkeys. Four spider monkeys and one capuchin. They are so sweet and funny.

😂😂😂mom must have been very happy to discover Abu completely smeared with mud, relaxing in bed under his blanket ! What a stubborn ! First, didn't want to bathe, and to finish didn't want to get out from the tub! Mom is very patient...and will have to do a lot of laundry ! And the worst...not any crab for dinner ! 😂😂😂😂

5 years old . I already asked the lady who said she got him from another family when he was 5 months old. He is a very different proposition to the poor new born babies snared in the bush . I think he and mummy have rather a sweet relationship she shows great patience when he is not in the mood to play ball .

I thought he must be adult age now . He is very strong isn’t he. How do you cope when he gets angry when he can’t do something? We had chimpanzees outside where I lived and they used to get really angry if they couldn’t open a coconut or someone stole their fruit . He loves you very much I can tell .
