Feels strange hearing Jesse speaking in a non-Aussie accent. I've been binging too many House clips

My first husband was an abusive alcoholic. His favourite saying was no body no crime. It took me 5yrs to finally get away. It had got to a point he was going to end my life or i his. It is not worth being arrested. Stay strong and groovy.

You did the best thing you could do, something that took great courage. People like your ex are broken inside, and unless they're willing to recognize it they can't be fixed. From your remark I assume you remarried. I'm glad you gave yourself the chance to be happy, and to make someone else happy.

She's right though. The most dangerous time is when the victim escapes so it very much boils down to their life or yours. It's a shame that people like her have to risk losing everything except the clothes on their backs so they can leave. Of course it's harder to coordinate an escape plan if you have children especially if they don't understand and even love their other parent.

Don't give him so much credit. He's his own victim, he'll never be happy. He's broken inside, and he'll never recognize it, and that's pathetic.

I never thought about the wife being abused from her husband I was wondering about why didn't she be descreet about it while he knew the cops were called on him (I'm not making this rude I'm just wondering about why she thought there was no way out) I've watched this 2 times now and I consider it the best episode
@daisyluvsummers8420
@daisyluvsummers8420 5 месяцев назад
If you have not experienced abused then pls don't judge the way she handle it. FYI it happens in real life. People say why not leave when you get the chance, it is easy to say but being done is different.

@@daisyluvsummers8420 yeah that’s true sorry about that comment she’s made I’m gonna have to make her delete it because for VideoStar to say something like that is hurtful, again sorry about what she said. I will talk to her about taking comments seriously and cautiously.

When you are in that situation, you feel there is no way out, all your defences are low, and you feel totally worthless, and if you do manage to escape, they find a way to drag you back in the end one of you end's up either dead or seriously injured.

@@carolyndymond4065 oh absolutely. I don't know why people think it's easy to just leave. I hope they don't experience this or if they did then they should understand not every story has a happy ending

Too many women in this situation end up dead, by their abuser’s hand. A few lucky ones make it out. Extreme cases are what you’ve just seen.

Well, if you look at the stats more women are killed by their partners than the other way round. And the firefighters were not portrayed as perpetrators. It showed that some men are violent and that some women are victims of their abusive husbands. In Germany and Italy, for example, every 3-4 days a woman is killed by her (ex) partner.
