1. This is the sixth stage of Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital’s development. it will be:
a. Fifty seven (57) years of existence By 2025, from when its cornerstone was laid of 1968 as the Institute of Health of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
b. As from 1985, when it became autonomous and renamed Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, ABUTH, it will be forty (40) years in 2025.
c. Again, from the time of relocation and commissioning the Teaching Hospital to the village of Shika, ABUTH, Shika will be cloaking 20 years in 2025.
That is to say by 2025, ABUTH, Shika will be marking a milestone of 3 epochs:
i. 57 years of existence from the time it was established as the Institute of Health of A.B.U. Zaria
ii. 40 years of existence from the time it became autonomous and renamed Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, ABUTH
iii. 20 years of existence from the time it was relocated to Shika village and commissioned in 2005.
