_Woke_ media is crumbling in a big way, and I couldn't be happier about it. _Concord_ flopped and refunded inside of two weeks, _AC: Shadows_ delayed in dire straits, _The Acolyte_ roundly panned, _Rings of Power_ is a multi-billion dollar monument to failure, and I have no doubt that _Agatha All Along_ will be memory-holed by Disney Marvel. All in a matter of months. It's fucking beautiful.

I didn't watch 1 second of either thanks to Nerdrotic and Drinker. I am a die hard marvel and lotr FAN. I love wandavision, watch it over and over. Very concerned over the ________ they talk about in interviews. If that was in Wandavision I would not have watched it either. Wandavision was clean and a great show WITH A GREAT STORY! I've only watched the first two episodes so far but Agatha All Along is actually a decent show, at least by MCU standards. There's a *very* obnoxious bit of queerbaiting in it but apart from that it's been decent. I think the trailers made it look a lot more Disney Channel than it actually has been so far.

I’ll be honest… and I’m sure I’ll get hate for this, but the show isn’t THAT bad. It’s a little boring, and unnecessary, but it’s really not as bad as some of these other MCU trashterpieces. I give it like a 2.5/5.

I should have been done with marvel years ago,but from iron man to endgame they built so much good will. The best of the best was netflix daredevil. If they make born again woke and/or screw it up,im done and so should everyone else be and I'm already not liking the details on the punisher and his symbol. The second I sniff out a white supremacy or BLM message,I'm out and marvel is dead.

It's a shame that we FINALLY get a gay character (one who was originally such a character in the comics) and it's at the end of a franchise (especially since we've been telling the studio for YEARS that was the road to take on introducing new characters). On a side note, I find it interesting that somehow Werewolf by Night gets the creepy feeling of the supernatural world so right, but this show fails at doing the same for a show about witches. I was just recently rewatching The Great Yokai War (2005), and not only does it do the supernatural world overlayed on the "normal, human world" better, but it also has a deeper layer of storytelling that tells of an evil powered by resentment of "abandoned things" and the unlikely heroes and heroines that are called upon to fight that, but also a "Festival of Night" where ALL the Yokai spirits from all over Asia get together for a party of the century (which makes the Orc armies of Middle-Earth look like a try-hard!). For the ladies, there's even a cute, cuddly little Yokai spirit that looks like an oversized hamster that would BTFO Baby Yoda and Porgs out of its #1 place for cutest critter. Also, the move of taking a soul and giving it a human body creates FAR better stakes for Wanda in having an ACTUAL kid than imaginary kids that she never had. If you have a storyline where you place that child of her into danger that he might not be able to handle 100% on his own, that gives Wanda even MORE reason to come out of hiding to protect her kid (especially since we know how badly she needs kids to handle her trauma of seeing Vision die in front of her). THAT should have been the story of Multiverse of Madness - her actions leading to damning her kids in the process, and what she is willing to do to save them from whatever fates she inadvertently bound them to - THAT is a story worth telling - just how far is a mother willing to go to protect her kids from harm (that would have been a great extension of the Scarlett Witch storyline). It would also have parallels in Tony's story, and his fear of being unable to save Earth from threats even when he's a genius and a billionaire, and all of those abilities and resources STILL make him feel like he failed at what he set out to do. An even better ending for him destroying Thanos would have been if there was a knock-on effect to what he did - just like in DC what happened in the animated Crisis Trilogy when the Flash tried to erase a powerful villain in the DC universe, and that ended up with unintended consequences that had dire consequences for SCORES of superheroes and superheroines.

Just sucks that Amazon cancelled a really good show like The Expanse so they could put more money into the crappy dumpster fire that has been the rings of power…what a freaking waste…

Rings of Power is up there because it is the default show. When you are not paying attention, Prime starts ROP so the numbers are high for that reason alone. I caught ROP starting 3 times.

Of course they had to cast an extremely feminine looking and sounding, lispy guy as the one gay male character. They have to make him as non threatening as possible, lest he capable of mansplaining on a show targeted at stunning and brave wine aunts.
