i mean, he's out of time with the music, screwing up lyrics, missing words etc.. but yeah he's still doing it as and old man and that's better than not having him with us anymore.
Geil war's gestern, noch besser als Freitag. Und verdammt laut 😄 Wahnsinn, was Brian immernoch für eine Stimme hat. Was für eine Hammer geile Performance.
Music is still spot on, but You can tell they’re wearing down. Angus and Brian have 1/20th of the energy from their prime. I really think it’s time to retire and enjoy the fruits of their labor.
I was also in Gelsenkirchen yesterday, Golden Circle, and when I went to the toilet I could hear it in the middle of the hall and further back: Extremely modest sound. With ACDC it won't have been the sound engineer's fault, i.e. a bad mix. There are two points: The unknown PA from the USA called “Cohesion Audio” emitted such biting, screeching and aggressive highs that it would have been unbearable without good ear protection. I like loud rock music when it is played cleanly, for example Nightwish with dB Audiotechnik (loud but great). Point 2 is the fact that Brian Johnson can barely get a note out.... from song 1! Also easy to recognize in this video. Age or not, he should realize that he can no longer afford it instead of pulling almost 200,- EUR per ticket out of the fans' pockets. What a rat's tail for many fans: I took 2 days of vacation, travel expenses, hotel accommodation, about 6 hours of waiting (queuing, another 3 hours of idling inside, opening act, changeover, then AC/DC) and then a really disappointing experience. If you want to hear AC/DC well, you should put on a record. On a side note: The lightshow was very nice. The performance offered by AC/DC (vocals & sound system), which was sold at a very high price, was subterraneanly bad.
Everything gets more and more expensive… Not just concert tickets… But that’s the direction it goes for everything and everyone…. Unless you’ve been living under a stone it should come as no surprise that Brian does not sound like he did 25 years ago….. They’re doing what it is likely to be one last round the globe, to give young fans a chance to a once in a lifetime live experience and old fans a chance to see them one last time… There is nothing wrong with that !
Fuck me I wish people would stop bitching, everyone was complaining that AC/DC was finished and how much they’d like to see AC/DC again and now they have the opportunity to see AC/DC they have the fucking audacity to whine like a spoilt little bitch
@@rickardnyberg4899 However, it was not a unique live experience, but rather a huge disappointment. You can't excuse everything with age, but you should recognize when the time for live singing is over. I would have preferred a playback show, then I would have had fun, as long as they hadn't had the very distorted and overdriven sound system in their luggage. I pay well and simply expected something in return that went beyond a nice light show. That's all it was.
There's many video's of a worse sounding brian filmed 20 years ago, so that shouldn't have come as a surprise. Your expectations overall seem to be unrealistic. Real AC/DC fans come out to see their favourite band and celebrate their legacy they're rooting for their heroes being up there despite their age, rocking their old asses off. I spent a lot of money and enjoyed every minute. A positive mindset goes a long way.
This particular song relies on very strong and distinct background vocals. Cliff and Malcolm gave "bells" two syllables in the backup vocals and carried the second syllable pretty far before fading . "Hells Be-ells." Stevie and the bassist obviously didn't get the memo.
