No One & i mean NO ONE can hold an audience like Angus Young, whether your right at the very back of the hall or in the front row it doesn't matter as he treats you just the same. The Man is a true living Legend.
I was at the concert at the 21st , Maaaaan.... when Angus did his solo I was left in tears, I couldn't bear the emotions it was absofuckinglooteley insane. Left me speechless. This man 69 yo didn't stop playing, running, jumping and doing his best like he was 20yo. This moment left a trace at my soul and my heart.
@@FOH3663 100%, i'm almost 40 years Younger than him and i cant play thunderstruck whitout using pulloffs and he only plays with an alternate pick. O cant imagine being 60 years old like that, to tell you the truth. lol
There will be no announcement of retirement. Ac dc is giving us there best one last time, and there going to ride of into the sunset. The fans know it. And its well deserved. And they are just amazing as the first day i heard them!
I kind of wish they would do an announced last show, hopefully in Australia. Have a worldwide broadcast and have the last song be "A Long Way to The Top"
I grew up on that solo and they were already past their prime when I listened to it (90s). Can't believe they're still kickin ass all these years after.... Angus is a rock icon, pure raw power, always was and still is!
Angus is a cherished rock and roll icon. Watching him play and still sounding so GOOD was pure delight. It’s not about how fast you can play, or how complex, or technical. It’s that vibrato on the note bends, and the raw gritty blues licks in the pentatonic scales, and of course the charisma and showmanship that only Angus can deliver.
@@electrofunk5442 no more enclosed cabinet, it seems he´s using amp emulation for an easiest playing, after Power Trip Festival disaster. If you listen carefully, you can note an amount of compression, for example.
My absolute favorite song of theirs. Got to witness it live in Amsterdam, lost my voice, sore feet, cramps all over, but what an absolute banger of a concert.
i have to agree with you. now that the NFL sched is out, ACDC now knows when those stadiums are available & can hopefully reveal their North American Tour very soon 🙏🏟🎤🎸🤘
Oh! Whew! One thing that remains unchanged from MY younger years! I thought I was the only one left from that time, and it was getting kinda lonely! Nice to see you out there gents! Wish I could have been there.
Tickets have gone or way too much for Wembley....but i have the memories of 3 classic shows in 1991...2 at N.E.C. Birmingham in April of that year followed by the amazing headline of Monsters Of Rock in August @ Donington Park.
I have seen a few bands over the years. Nothing rivaled seeing AC/DC in the 80s . When they came to town., I was so blown away the 1st show. I had to go back the next night. UNREAL ROCK AT ITS BEST!!!
I so agree. He plays even harder and rougher than Malcolm played. Malcolm was more about being solid and tight. Stevie is more about power and intensity. Stevie destroys over 2 dozen guitar picks a show, he literally turns the guitar picks to dust...
Outstanding! No band has the raw energy that ac/dc does. Angus's guitar sound just rips though the air like a sword. I have seen a lot of the guitar gods and not one has the sound that Ac/dc gives you live. The best sound I have ever heard and they haven't lost a step long live Ac/Dc !
Brian's getting a lot stronger again compared to Power Trip. Band is really tight, and as for Angus, his solos on this gig are like the old days, really fluid! Maybe he lowered his action, added some gain, been practicing a lot....he's playing great!
@@songsabai3794 Ha, yes! But from Ballbreaker onwards his playing changed and that might not have been only due to a cleaner tone, he might have raised his action to enhance tone and attack, some choose to do it.
Man, this is fantastic! Thanx so much for sharing. I will see them next month for the first time and I assume for the last time. I was so afraid that they would dissapoint me, but after the lesson learned from last year I think they rehearsed for a long time for this tour. This is the first gig and they already sound so good and… fresh. I’m not an expert on Angus’ sound and signal chain, but to me he sounds heavier than ever. And… I like it 👍
@@martymartin2894 Well, if I want to hear solos I’ll go to Satriani, Vai, Gilbert, etc. Angus has never been a virtuoso, but I don’t care at all. I think he’s doing a great job as the rest of the band. Especially the new drummer.
I bought my first AC/DC cassette when I was 13, it was Fly on the Wall, a damn good introduction if you ask me. AC/DC are to electric rock what Johnny Cash is to country music. Rebels and Godfathers! 😊🤘🤘🤘
Veltins! I lived in Kassel Germany in 1980, as an exchange student. My German father's fave was Veltins ... never forget him ... So Fritz Hartmann, this one's for you! (the sweetest, nicest family I could've lived with, Michael, Sabilla, and Monica ... the nicest wonderful people).
