Brian was informed years ago that his hearing was about shot. I dare say he sounds ok given his age. Robert Plant is a mate of his and is still actively performing. Much appreciation for them still doing it for the fans. Angus is a legend bar none and a gentleman.
He had what are know as ear crystals. He is essentially cured. I'm sure there were permanent issues, but the core problem is fixed according to interviews by him.
@@eldoabrahamson I did at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, the 5th of June. Great concert! I'm still a bit deaf from the guns in For Those About To Rock.
@@bobdevries4028why are you saying that…these guys are tested an true…and can rock the house down…even today…so…just because you may not care for them…they are TRUE LEGENDS
@@billpo, @thistime4you I'm not sure exactly what you're saying as far as one group being better than the other. First of all, they both speak to two TOTALLY different generations, in two different decades. The social zeitgeist was polar opposite when they were in their own separate heydays ...
It's incredible seeing these guys perform at the same level as they did 30 years ago when I saw them live. I never thought my rock Gods would get old, but here they are, still killing it. RIP Malcolm
Great to see these guys still doing it and loving it.. Angus may be a little slower these days, but still one of the best guitarists that doesn't get enough recognition i.m.o.
I remember when back in black first came out. I think the first song I ever heard from AC/DC was for those about to rock on mtv. Agnus is such an under rated guitarist. It’s amazing as soon as he starts his riffs how the audience feeds off his amazing guitar work. Kind of like piranha going into a frenzy when an animal enters the waters. He’s that good. Biggest regret is never seeing AC/DC to this day.
Thanks for the clip,i love these guys,I’m so glad Brian’s back,he’s the voice of AC/DC since 1980,he’s the only one for this band after Bon’s passing.Love Brian and Angus, long live AC /DC ❤❤❤❤⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️Keep it up guys, there will never be another AC/DC!!⚡️⚡️⚡️🧢🧢🧢🧢❤❤
As sad as I feel growing older, 58 now and watching my young-man hero's STILL doing their thing and moving around the stage more than most of the bands today... Absolutely they are showing their age but I love that THEY still love it....
Awesome! The only band I never caught live and now I realize is the only band that mattered! Damn. I like Angus' red "uni"! Guy's in his seventies and can do this at this caliber. Rock and Roll "Real" Hall of Fame. First ballot!
Let There Be Rock - 1979 Live. The lightning inlay SG is THE Back in Black SG. On all 80s Videos seen. I think what he gave him is his Donington SG, but guess only
@@unnroolee I saw them a the Nurnberg Stadium in Germany with 80,0000 plus people! Cheap trick, Scorpions, Nils Lofgren, Molly Hatchet and the Who as headliner! 35 DM at the door, Good times and cheap!
Love how Angus doesn't bother turning his volume knob down and just puts his hand over the strings...I always did it the same way because I knew how to set up all my gear and I don't have hum of buzzing problems I've always fought the hum and quite successfully too. I run a 2 x 50w ENGL stereo rig no distortion pedals just an OD (Klon).... so creamy smooth and bluesy
Somehow I only saw them once when they were the warmup act for Alice Cooper. I think it was 1979 when Bon Scott was still alive. It just warms my heart to see Angus still going strong here.
Theres a great interview with the guitar tech that handed him a new guitar, goes through all of his gear and stuff very in depth. I learned if you want to sound like Angus, you need a Solodallas effects pedal.
Angus is 14 years my senior, and in far better physical shape than I am, even after decades of hard drinking.. 😞 If I did what he does on stage for 2 minutes, I'd drop.. Good on him.. 👍
Stones, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC.. back in the 1960s, I think it was 1965. A rock band from England appeared at an amusement park Danceland 2 miles from my home. I had just got my first guitar. I did not have a car yet because I was 13. I met my girlfriend for years later. She was there to see this band from England because she was always there on Saturday nights with two of her sisters. my girlfriend and her sisters were talking to the band members.. not many people have ever heard of the band at that time, and they were not a big deal at that time.. that band from England was the Rolling Stones.. The dance land was West view Park dance land in West view Pennsylvania just a couple miles outside of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.. Who knew
Saw them live in the Tacoma Dome, January 16th, 1991. The day the first Gulf War started. Massively entertaining show. Angus did a bit of a strip tease... down to red, white, and blue boxer shorts. Needless to say, the crowd went wild.
@jbass69goat84 I guess but I really wonder if in this day and age of less gear-whether some of these cabinets are just dummy cabinets. IDK. Different bands are doing that now. Would still be loud though. 😀🎸
