That was my thought. Even if they said it, not sure how that's racist. Being racist used to mean something. Now, it's just something you call people you don't like.
Because that song is 50+ years and still great until this day that's why they troll it what a jealous ass while they rap song is nowhere near and almost forgotten 😂
@@heerath_singh The word in the song isn't the n word. And if a word is vile and offends you then you shouldn't be saying it and perpetuating it no matter what your color is or amount of "cred" you think you might have.
Well in walking on a dream by empire of the sun. I thought the lyrics at first it sounded like was when 2 pickles become one. It was when 2 people become one..... #picklerick
When I was younger "hollaback girl" by Gwen Stefani came on the radio in the car and I was singing along to it. But my mom thought the chorus said "I ain't no Harlem black girl" and I was subsequently yelled at.
Sam out of Sam And Dave was his favourite singer while Brian Johnson's favourite singer was little Richard and Angus Young's favourite guitarist was Chuck Berry and Malcolm Young's favourite guitarist was Elmore James. I honestly can't remember them mentioning any other than black Blues/Rock musicians. And they clearly stayed away of the Led Zeppelin method of stealing and not crediting the black musicians behind the originals

As a construction worker, the last thing I want to hear is AC DC.. first of all I'm an electrician, I talk about AC and DC enough and Secondly, that's about the only thing construction workers listen to
Some Churches in America thought AC/DC was Anti Christ ,Devils Children . Angus young was looking at his sister sewing box we’re back then it said AC/DC means Alternating current, Direct current. He told her what a good name for a band !! Raciest ya right like other things people’s said about them in the past . Here’s a novel idea don’t listen if you think that😂😂😂
Yes. Religious hysteria😅... Some people also thought the band name 'KISS' was an acronym for ''Knights In Satan's Service". People😅... Go figure. PS: Coincidentally, the two bands apparently toured together...At least the suspected hidden meaning of their names matched :D
@@142horizon Gene Simmons had something to do with getting AC/DC signed on an American label or something like that, he heard them in a bar or something the first time they came to America and the next morning or after the show contacted Angus and made some kind of a proposal, if it wasn't getting him signed on a label it was with his management agency or some sort of thing like that, but that's how they wound up on tour with Kiss.
I've been listening to ac dc longer than you have been alive and I never once heard the n word from that line. Could never understand it but never heard the n word.
In wish you were here by Pink Floyd I used to think it was “did you exchange the walk on part of the war for a negro in a cage” turns out it’s “LEAD ROLE in a cage”
There's a book on misheard lyrics called 'Scuse Me While I Kiss This Guy'. The title is from the chorus of Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix ("Scuse me while I kiss the sky")
Funny part about that one, I read somewhere that Jimi knew about the misheard lyric and actually used the “kiss this guy” in some concerts to mess with people
@@ToastedGhost0027 yeah I did watch the video she did defend the band but after she called them racist so she needs to get her info right before making assumptions
Welcome to 2024, where you get called racist even if someone mishears something you say. At what point do we just stop listening to people just because they’re loud?
Honestly I tend to have crazy "lyric deafness" where I can't ever understand what anyone is singing about in any song, but even I understood what he really said lmao
New sub here. My husband was convinced Dolly Parton's Lil Ole Bitty Pissant Country Place had the lyric "nice white crowd" after hearing it numerous times, as he was a bartender at a gay bar. I brought it up again before writing this, and he was still adament, even though I had explained to him she says "nice quiet town." After playing it again, he relented and was like, "that makes more sense." Edit: BTW, you're gorgeous. . . Also, hubbie and I are dopplebangers, I think hah. Could be a new series for ya, maybe? Subscribers could send you pics of normie dopplebangers.
That is so funny, I always thought it was "and the Dunder Gee?" I haven't got a clue what a Dunder gee is but I sang it for years I've listened to DC for nearly 40yrs too, it only dawned on me just a few years ago when reading the album cover and the penny dropped 😂😂
Poor Bon. He was accused for Antisemitism when people hear "Hey Satan, Hate the Jews" when he's actually saying "Hey Satan, paid my dues" and of course "season ticket on a one way ride" sounds like this.
It’s hilarious when people say things are racist, they project and tell on themselves. That’s why any time I hear the word racist, they are just voicing that deep down they themselves are racist 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@ToastedGhost0027 no, people automatically think something is racist when they think they’ve heard something racist, so instead of actually doing research they assume based on their assumptions. if a person assumes something is racist all the time that tells you their subconsciously looking for racism
Or if u look like me u grew up being looked as a criminal my old neighborhood I couldn't walk down the without cops being called and gun drawn down on me so I'm 25 now I still can't down some streets without be stereotyped.. I'm a law abiding citizen but if I see cops coming my way I'm terrified for my life and they could just be passing by.. another incident ( I'm walking to Ross to shop and white lady and her daughter walking front of me and then I noticed the mom is holding her purse like I was going to take it)not the first time either
@@celeciarosas that’s different from what we’re talking about though, i am however sorry that people are like that. i am mixed and i definitely understand the struggles of being perceived a certsin way
@@Noah-or6ws usually when someone calls out actual racism the actual racist says bullshit like “oh pulling the racist card huh, everything’s racist now”, Just to hide their real racism.
I really do hate this generation that is so quick to assume s*** I think everyone just needs to sit back and stop being so automatically opinionated and stop presuming stupid s*** I hate our generation. FYI I love AC/DC
They are weak, dysgenic fools who have no idea how the real world works. They believe everyone owes them something because they happen to be some form of "protected" people. So they surround themselves with other "protected" people and they form an echochamber which is made louder by the media pandering to them. But soon enough the "protected" people are going to be cast out of their bubble into the non protected world, and when that happens these people will either grow up and smarten up, or they will get run over by a world who is sick of perpetual victims.
A Yank here. AC/DC was one of the many treasures Australia gave the world. Also I've been to your country. Loved it! And playing an Aussie band at an American celebration? 4th of July? Can't get more American than ACDC. Ironic. God bless y'all! Been getting drunk to them for years now! Good times. . .good times.
A gente até esqueceu que o Fofana existe ainda kkkkkkkk ninguém mais acredita que ele pode voltar e se tornar um grande zagueiro, ser torcedor do Chelsea tá tenso, quando não é a idade do jogador é lesão.
Thier not saying the n word at all their saying "season ticket on a one way ride" so don't listen to this girl she don't know what she is talking about and if you don't believe me look up the lyrics
This is like that video where the dude has a bunch of people yelling "this is impossible", but every time he changes the words on the screen and everyone in attendance hears those words regardless of what is being said.
If he didn’t sing like a baby goblin then maybe we would have been able to tell😭 Seriously has anyone ever listened to his vocals with no music? It doesn’t sound good at all its so weird
Most of what I personally consider the best songs, singers, etc voices really suck. It's truth. But put it together as a whole, and its freaking awesome. Adele has what I and many others consider to be a "great" voice, and I cant stand her singing
@@Grudgelame you look it up. It's "season ticket". Like I said they aren't a US band and that particular word was not common here at the time. I grew up with this music - nit everywhere is the US
😂 i cant believe i didnt hear either one previously. This kinda feels like that moment in toy story 3 were ken says "Barbie! Those were vintage." But it also could sound like he used an F-bomb in a disney-pixar movie. Even more similar would be poker face by lady gaga, when part of the lyrics could sound like "p p p poker face p p p poker face" but it could also sound more explicit depending on how you hear it.
@@raylouis7013 You can still use a word that isn't common where you're from, that's not an argument. I'm not saying they did, I'm saying your argument makes no sense.
@@horseluver4ever623 my question is - why would they? Making the assumption that they did is a form of cultural imperialism. "It's an offensive term WE use so it must be something that everyone else does".
Let's all post lyrics we got wrong here are two songs i screwed up growing up 🤣😄🤗🤭 I'm 52 so this on is old. The band Creedence Clearwater Revival and their song Bad Moon Rising and lyrics in the song. I was like 12 before I was told the lyric wasn't a bathroom on the right 🤣. Let's not forget Manfred Mann's Earth Band and their hit Blinded by the Light. Revved up like a deuce lyric and I sang Wrapped up like a douche not knowing what it was but sang it anyway haha.
Same on both! Also CCR "Who'll Stop Loraine?" Lol I also got Steve Miller Band wrong as a kid, "Big Old Jet Airliner"? Not to my 11 year old ears. I thought the song was about two dudes: Big Old Jed & Lionel.
I thought the song free falling by tom petty, said free balling for years until I was singing the song and a friend says that's a funny version of the song. I was like version? that's what the song says. then she corrected me and I was oh that makes since with the rest of the lyrics lol.
Mee toooo 😅😅😅. I sang it, not even knowing what one was. My Dad heard me and spit his coke out while driving. Of all the times he threatened to pull over or turn around him, having to pull over to laugh is a strong memory. I was little playing air piano. Well, I can't say Air Organ while we are getting things wrong now, can I??? 😅😅😅
Even though Brian has passed, his iconic rock n’ roll spirit lives on! AC/DC will never be forgotten, their fans loved them then, and even more now! Thank you AC/DC for giving me the best memories!
