Outstanding, keep the Rock & Roll Train rollin' down the track. We were lucky enough to grow up at this time, but it's still happening. Rock & Roll will never die. (!)
@@jmcc2275 yes I know Time takes its toll on us all. I got to see them years ago and it was awesome. These guys are legends. We’re fortunate to still have them around. I hope I can see them live one more time.
69 years old and still ripping the stage up I’m 57 and struggle to walk up the stairs 😂😂you just have to respect them, lucky enough to see them them in 1982,still a great band live 😂
I´m 61 i saw them 30 of November 1980....turned of the lights in my room learned all back in black songs on guitar playng along...rehersed Sin City with my band in the basement...good old days ;)
Flew to London from the States to see them for the first time. I've tried for 40 years to see them and finally made it. Fantastic, fantastic show. Frankly, to see the likes of Angus play guitar live was certainly on the bucket list. Bryan...terrific. Matt was awesome behind the kit. I had not seen Chris on bass before, but it was felt across the stadium. Finally, I think Stevie is just the glue, just pushed along like a tank. ..Thank you Cliff, Phil, and Chris Slade for all the great years of music....The Young Family should be and I bet is proud of their accomplishments.....RIP Malcom, the Boys are doing just fine.......The October 2023 show in Palm Springs is a Shit location to see this group. Fingers crossed they come to the States. If they do, don's miss the show......Thank you Wembley.....what a venue
You summed up Acdc perfectly there Michael, hats off to you mate. Going to the Wembley show this Sunday, can't wait. For those who know nothing of the band, watch this and then think of the energy they produced 20,30 years ago. It hits you.
I was 11 years old when I discovered these. Way back in 76. I have watched them develop and gain bigger audiences as I have grown. The soundtrack of my life. Still to watch them makes me feel like a kid again. Awesome
Same here been listening since the '70s back when they were an opening act for Ted Nugent, Aerosmith, etc., and it was obvious they were going somewhere and I liked them better than the headliners!
@@Smegon Yeah, I heard plenty of wrong notes, flat, sharp, or just halfway between frets, but that's actually the standard for Angus. He was always sloppy player. But, blues rock is at it's best when it's sloppy, and their brand of rock is pretty much just heavy blues. Angus is a fine sloppy.
I’ve seen AC/DC live four times now, I have Angus young’s school hat he threw into the crowd, I actually seen them playing at the pub in Milson point, when they were nobodies.. I love AC/DC forever..
@@serjzicktutta1670 no, I never liked the Rolling Stones, they didn’t hit the spot for me, plus I was a Mod in the early days of the Rolling stone and wasn’t into rock until I heard ACDC in the mid 70’s and no one has surpassed them for me since. 🙂
I was there! Loud as hell... I pulled my earplugs out to hear one of the cannon shots directly and it was insane. And I was up on the side, middle level and still... LOUD
Back around 1990 when I had a 5 CD player. I would put menu on RANDOM of 5 ACDC cd's. People would ask is there anything else in there I would say not for the next 3 hours.
That's exactly what I thought to myself when I saw them during their last tour, during Angus's long guitar solo. I said to myself, "You ain't ever going to see someone burning their axe live like that ever again."
I attended a Little League tournament last weekend and almost every dugout played AC/DC between innings. It made my heart happy to see all the different generations rocking out together. AC/DC will live on forever!!!!!
It was the best experience of my life ..and i am soooo happy and proud that i could go and see them on Wembley…70.000 people to sing and dance..was 🥹🥹🥹…Incredible demn good!! Love AS/DC
Why is AC/DC still one of the best bands in the world? They have everything. - The songs and setlist are awesome. The show is outstanding. - AC/DC gives the people what they want. And unforgettable evening. They respect the kids/the fans - and the fans respect them. They never disappoint. AC/DC are always willing to deliver the best concert they can. - The man focus is on music - Angus is better than ever. He really wants to play and is enjoying it. - Brian, Angus, Stevie and the others are very down to earth. - The AC/DC logo, the artwork is one of a kind - Brian is struggling, yes. But he tries and does the best he can. Imagine doing one show after the other with voice and hearing only partially working. This is difficult. Big respect to him. Brian has been in the band for almost 44 years. What is he supposed to do? Either letting the band die or trying the best he can. Picture you as Angus, being 50 years +/plus in the band, still being relevant and filling up the Wembly stadium. AC/DC can't be copied in a lot of senses.
My cousin is Phil Rudd the drummer but I don't think he's doing this gig, not from what I can see at any rate which means the only original member is ANGUS ON GUITAR SO WTF?!!
Saw them in Detroit a few years ago. They still rock the house no matter their age! When I read nasty comments about them not being as good as they once were, it makes me immediately think, could you do what they do? Rock on fellas!
That's a question to ask when watching performers. I once saw a guy do a street performance in Amsterdam. He got out of a locked straight jacket. First, he had to gather up an audience. Before long, he had about 100 people watching him. He asked for donations, and I gave him 10 Euro. I told him "I couldn't do what you do". He said "It's a hard one brother, but I love it".
AC/DC found the formula almost 50 years ago and didn't mess with it. That is why they are still popular. Bands that want to "grow creatively" instead of giving their fans what they want is why their no longer, significantly, around.
I'm 60 and I still crank up the tunes when driving. Angus nephew Stevie Young on lead is so much like his uncle. This is real rock & roll, not like most of the the crap on the radio today!!!
An absolute marvel of Hard rock simplicity at it's finest. Nobody rocks a 4 chord tune better than these guys. Malcom was rythym guitar genious. Angus sounds like no one else. Love these guys!
nobody has ever seen a band unless they seen the band in their prime, sorry. this is like seeing the fat elvis in the late 70s. you just saw the "we can squeeze out a couple more million" for our grandkids tour. same goes for all the other way past their prime years bands
@@SillyGoose2024you're so wrong dude. I saw them in 1985. Angus has always been this way. Maybe he has slowed down on the head banging. But they still got the sound
My uncle took me to see the World Series of Rock in Cleveland Ohio back in July '79. I got to see the OG Bon Scott. Amazing experience at 12 years old.
Best concert I’ve ever been to 1990 AC/DC. My pops who only loved Classical music took me. Son? Yes pops? Why is the little guy in my old school uniform?😳 😎💯🤘♾️
Can't belive I'm 76 and still rock to this .Never be another band like them .Thanks for posting. Was at the NEC Birmingham when they did a sound check, set off all the fire alarms in the place including the hall next door !
It was amazing, so glad i was there and enjoyed so much , we miss this rock and roll so much , and yet they are still there for us .., The Rock and Roll will never die 🤘
Good 👍 rock n' Roll 🎉🎉🎉
The thing that makes AC/DC great, as it did for other bands such as CCR, etc was the simplistic nature of the guitar compositions. This is just pure old school rock'n'roll. While other guitar players egotistically tried to outperform one another, Angus always kept his eye on the sound. And damn, how many bands lose their lead singer, replace them with another, and still continue going strong and growing in the charts? Not too many bands have been able to pull that off.
Ich bin ACDC-Fan seit 1973, hab von meinem Taschengeld die erste Vinylplatte gekauft. Das ist 50 Jahre her, und ja, jetzt sind wir also zusammen alt geworden. Alt?
This is how to make a convincing Rock and Roll Performance. First You build The Stage with a High Wall full of Marshall Amplifiers and the You start to Play!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌👌👌🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 Very Well Done!😎🇫🇮
I saw them in Brighton, December 79. My first proper R'n'R gig, and I think I saw them 4 times within a couple of years. They always put on a great show. Legends. They must still enjoy performing because I doubt they need the money at this point, just doing it for fun and for the fans which is how it should be. 😃
Is it the same show quality it was 15 years ago? No, but who can criticize them at their age? They’re out there rock’n like studs. They still sound better than many of these so-called musicians these days. Rock on bros
Have to disagree a little about the song tempos and this really wasn’t his fault. Thunderstruck intro was way too slow imo but that’s really on Angus since he starts it. Like any good drummer, he picked up the pace when everyone started playing.
Never forget seeing them way back in 1976 when i was a 14 year school kid they were awsome.Bon Scott was the lead singer before he sadly passed away. They were doing free gigs all around our local schools then, around the western suburbs of Melbourne. They were popular then with their TNT album selling around the world.Stardom never got to them.
Hopefully they will release a dvd or summat like they did at River Plate ...I suspect they will film Sunday as well then join it together like they did for River Plate
I saw them only three time Time twice in 1978 Colchester Essex university with Bon and also Colchester ABC cinema and also late early 90s when in their prime so glad I did.
@johnroberthines7811 I thought so too, but there's been chatter on acdc forums that some of the crew let slip that it was happening. There were additional cameras that were being used to track the crowd and band that weren't projecting to the screen (i was there, its was mint). The suspended fly camera and the helicopter... I dono seems alot of effort to not use them.
ac/dc will forever hold a special place in my heart they were the first rock band i really heard and got into. so cool to see these legends still killing it!!
It's 2024, I'm 58 years old and I'm still stark raving mad for AC/DC. I love them just as much now as I did in 1978 when I discovered them via their live album If You want Blood, You've Got it.
@@kqh123 yes, I was a wee lad of 12. I had discovered KISS, Boston and Kansas in 1976 at the age of 10, but the mighty DC quite literally rocked my world and I was never the same again.
