Given that Brian is 76, Angus is 68, Stevie is 66, and Cliff is 73, I think they did a phenomenal job coming back out and performing all these songs again for the first time in 7 years, some even longer or for the first time live like the 2020 stuff. And of course Angus still running around stage the way he always does.
Absolutely. Well said. We have to appreciate more and more the phenomenon of AC/DC. The longevity, the power and rawness of the songs and music. Each member to carry that torch is truly something to behold. To Bon. To Malcolm. And of course For All Those About To Rock. We are the lucky ones to witness the greatest rock n roll band ever. AC/DC 24/7/365. Forever.
Imagine you see AC/DC at a massive concert and you just watch it through your phone screen so you could watch it later. Put down your phones and enjoy the music.

Think about this for a second, Brian Johnson thought this was gone for him. Thought his hearing was gone. To be able to do it again is absolutely amazing. You can tell hes pouring his entire being into this performance. Ya'll hating on him best put some respect on the true rock and roll warrior that is Brian Johnson.
It’s so sad seeing a crowd with such a mind blowing opportunity not being completely into it. AC DC live at river plate is a benchmark for all artists this seems flat atmosphere a generational change from when we lived for live music compared to streaming now being first choice, Itwas album first then tour and the hope you were one of the lucky ones to get tickets. Everyone used to be bouncing. I’m sure it still felt great being there but looked flat for a huge audience
24 Songs ...first time after 10 years..lost his hearing....got it back and still there. Brian. 76 y old... What a man!!! WOW. I hope i am as fit and healthy as he is, if i get to that age!!!
Totally agree! I ve never see am AC/DC concert where the people look them being seating!!! It's looks like a Opera y an Theater....such ugly AND bitter public there.
They rocked for more than two hours, man!!!! ...50 years after their first record! They really are incredible!!!!! They never changed their sound. I love AC/DC.
These guys are still kicking ass despite their age. Also, don't forget one thing. You are hearing this through an unbalanced tiny microphone in a really loud environment through youtube compression. What you hear here is very different than what people heard there. I admire Brian for this, he is 76 and he is still rocking. He came back from a deaf-scare and now look at him. I truly hope they do a world tour at one point, one last time so I can see them live before I die.
Although it wasnt their very best show of course, it was still legendary , especially if you think of their age.I think the crowd could have been way more with them, especially when you think of all the things they have done. AC/DC is in my opinion one of the best bands ever existed.
Honestly I was stoked to be able to see AC/DC myself. Nevet had before and I really appreciated how might not get tons more chances. They were super fun and great energy. Those guitars live fucking ripped. The pyro hitting in the desert was fun too
Maybe not their best show, but it absolutely is their greatest setlist ever! 6 BIB tracks, If You Want Blood and Stiff Upper Lip coming back, Brian singing Riff Raff for the first time ever in front of a real audience, and a grand total of 24 SONGS! That's big stuff!
@@the_yellow_shirted_kid_16 I will see them 4 times on their upcoming european tour, I hope for a setlist similar to that! Or even exactly this setlist, that would be awesome
This makes me so proud to see these men rock on stage again! Also Angus looks cool as hell with the grey hair; looks like he achieved rock'n'roll wizard status \m/ Long rock AC/DC \m/
Angus is an amazing guitarist. This whole band has always rocked and ALWAYS will rock. With today's crap music it is a pleasure hearing AC/DC, and for those about to rock WE SALUTE YOU!
Professor Young on lead guitar! Got a bit emotional watching this. So grateful they're even still around considering all that's happened, let alone still performing. Forever my favourite band since I was 10 years old. FUCKING LEGENDS! #ACDCFOREVER
That was a hell of performance given that they had never been out of live concerts like this, they've never been old like this, they've never sing a tracklist as long as this one. Trust me: if you try to sing all these song like Brian did your voice is done before you are at half list. Angus as well didn't miss a single note. The rythmic group was excellent. Long life to AC/DC!🔥
Technically, the band did do shows this long when Axl Rose was singing with them at the end of the Rock or Bust tour, but it is indeed impressive that they came back and STILL did this monster of a setlist with Brian on vocals. I expected that we wouldn't be seeing them do super long sets like this without Axl to give them the push to do it, though maybe Axl did push them to do this show since he was there. Even if GnR left the night before, they might have talked about it and given Brian and the guys encouragement to at least try it for this one off show.
Yeah they got a guy who did his homework and carefully listened to what makes this bands rhythm section tic .. the last tour was kind of a trainwreck and chris slade had a lot to do with that,, 2009/10 was really the last time you were gonna get the real experience, mal cliff and Phil can't be replaced and Brian was still able to belt it out somewhat 😊
Totally agree with that, chris is a great drummer but was way too rigid on that tour.. No swing and little feel. Phil is king and you can tell Matt has studied Phil's playing for this.@@Diesel0807
If they do tour, Matt Laug will probably be on the US tour, but if they put out more records, Phil will be on the recordings. Phil couldn't make it to this, but he's still in the band.
Sure his voice isn't the same he had when they did Back in Black or The Razors Edge, but for his age he is damn good! Looking forward to the European tour 🤩🤩

I've been listening to Ac Dc almost 30 years now and seen a lot of live concerts, what surprises me about this concert is their selection of songs they did, they were playing a lot of songs they usually never do in concert , this was an interesting concert, this one felt like it was for the true Ac Dc fans
@MissAmazanda That´s what i thought too...some special songs for real musicians, not the standard mainstream music. I would love to hear "Danger" or "Night Prowler".
Sounds like it's really live, which is impressive. I'm sure a stadium tour is coming in 2024, and I will be there out of respect and because it seems like it could very well be the last time they tour.
Thanks Krusty. I also I saw my first AC/DC show in 1996 Ballbreaker Tour. I'm glad you and your son enjoyed the concert. I enjoy with your video. AC/DC forever.
It’s amazing Brian recorded back in black once, let alone performed it live for decades. The man always does his best everything off Powerage sounds just like the album. Hats off Brian, I’ll be lucky to be here at 76.
This was the best part of the weekend. The crowd was so exhausted from screaming that the silence between songs is misleading. AC/DC owned the show. We were all just completely blown away. 🤘🤘⚡⚡
Saw them in São Paulo Brazil in 2009, for me the most beautiful stage and production EVER... When that train breaks into the stage... It's a rare pleasure for us Brazilians, to see AC/DC in our country.... I'm glad that i made it !!!!
I would’ve gave anything to be there…. As a senior in highschool and pretty much only listening to these guys songs, (especially when I’m going down the road with the top down in my dads corvette) I get an escape from reality to just rock. These guys have kept me running all these years. Beyond grateful for the band and this upload, my friend. For those about to rock, I (we) solute you!!! 🎸⚡️🤘🏻
To all those that do cover videos and tutorials using AC/DC material. Take note. There is next to no gain dialled in. The amp volumes are set LOUD so the amps start clipping with natural distortion. So many vids I see have way too much gain dialled in. Fabulous to see AC/DC back out there again. There will not be a mountain I will not move to catch them live in the UK when (Hopefully) a full tour schedule is announced. Let There Be Rock!
There will be no world tour after this debacle. If you're in the UK you'd be far better off going to see Francis Rossi's version of Status Quo - at least they still rock.
Same from Ohio I’m originally from South Carolina like their new drummer but since my house burnt ? I live in a rental my aunt had and we are just here til we find a place.
@@jakeenan I guess USA did not grant him the visa due to his legal issues regarding death threats, hiring a killer, resisting the authorities and possesing several illegal drugs.
Wtf is wrong worh that crowd. What did they think they were? These are the pioneers of True ROCK n ROLL and they are still awsome. And fucking LIVE. No DJ. Real instruments. True music.
That crowd had energy, I was there. Folks were dancing and head banging and cheering. And there were thousands of glowing devil horns being worn. The GA and pit area was more lit for sure
I think Matt Laug did a damm good good filling in for Phil Rudd. If they do go on tour hopefully Phil will be involved in some way but if not Laug is definitely the next best guy for the job. He sounded a billion times better than Chris Slade did on the Rock or Bust tour (no offense to Slade). Also this setlist is fuckin awesome! If You Want Blood, Have a Drink On Me, Givin The Dog a Bone, Stiff Upper Lip, Riff Raff, this is a dream setlist for true fans like myself
Oh mate well said there. Couldn't agree more. And yea of course no offense to Slade. He did well with them for a while but in my opinion had his own style compared to the likes of Phil. Phil suits the band more whereas Slade is more tighter and doesn't flow as much. Laug was in between the two but a much better sound I reckon compared to Slade.
Dude Angus still has the energy of a young man on stage. Just fire. Was there and my first time seeing them, was impressed by that. Them and Priest together really kept the energy going all night Saturday.
The fact that you are so far away, and it sounds this good, is proof that they blast it louder than any other live band! Thanks for this! I've never seen them live, YET! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I've watched this video so many times and shed so many tears. I am forever grateful you recorded the entire damn thing. AC/DC may not be my favorite band anymore but they were the first band I ever got into and will forever hold a place in my heart. Angus is also the reason i started playing guitar. I hope they do a tour next year.
Last i saw ac dc live was in the houston astrodome in 1981. That's like 2 lifetimes ago. There's not many bands from that era still performing live. I remember when there were garage bands on every other block. Rock & Roll was in it's infancy. What a great era to live thru. You couldn't have imagined the hundreds of thousands of bands that created the millions of songs we have today. What a long strange trip it's been. G.D.
I was so stoked when I first heard they were doing power trip but was unsure what to think when they announced their new drummer. I have to tell ya, this is the best the band has sounded in years. Sure Brian is up there but he can still hit notes. Overall amazing gig.
@@christufferStop speading misinformation! There's no official reason as to why he's not appearing at Power Trip. First you Pinocchios on the Right lie about open borders etc and now you're doing it again with Rudd. If any administration would bar access into the country, it sure as hell would be a Poser/Fake Law & Order conservative admin. Exposed!
Very beautiful to see a new tour, with a different set list,,and some more new songs, especially at the age Angus, Brian,Cliff,Steve, Phil Rudd, great to see that they alive and kicking,,touring.
Best Band in the Universe! Seen them 16 times live in 7 different countries. I was scared when I waited this gig. 7 years silence. 7 years without Brian! Seen them 3 times with Axl, but honestly Brian is the Singer. He^s the Man! Band sounded absolutely awesome! Matt did great job! Angus! Last Man standing! OMG! He´s living Legend! White hair, but he plays like angel! Without seeing Sin City or Shoot To Thrill I would guess this is recorded early 80`s. He´s amazing! Have some 700+ AC/DC vinyls (LP, 12", 10" 7"). They are the Best!!
Huge, monstrous effort from the boys. Truly legendary. Agree with most all of the comments and critiques, but let’s be clear: These boys owe us NOTHING, and they came out and gave us more. Needs improvement: Stevie’s guitar tone, could have been just a tad dirtier. He played great though. Brian’s voice is obviously diminished, but the main thing is his timing. He was well late on many lyrics. Several songs started off shaky, but got better as they went. Thunderstruck an obvious example. Back In Black, too. High points: Setlist was class. Perhaps their best ever, and certainly the best in 35 years or so. Angus played great. He fudged a few notes here and there over a 2 hour show, but he played really great overall! He was really ripping on a quite a few songs, mid set especially. Overall they all got better as they got warm. By the midpoint of the show, they were pretty well locked in, and I’d say they finished pretty fuckin strong. Rhythm section was locked in like the world class pros they are. Hats off to Cliff, Matt, and Stevie. Matt stepped up to the plate, sounded great and they all kept the train on the tracks. The new songs Demon’s Fire and Shot in the Dark were tight and energetic. Rock and Roll Train was solid. Stiff Upper Lip was good. Brian sounded really good on a couple of the Bon tracks. Actually SINGING a bit on Sin City and Dog Eat Dog. He should do more of that. The crowd was the worst I’ve ever fucking seen in my life. A sign of the times, I guess, but really, fucking pitiful. The boys laid it on the line for a few thousand drones with phones😑 Upsetting puts it mildly. Overall, it’s a 6.5 or 7 out of 10 from me. If Brian could sing on time for most or all the songs, this would have been an 8-8.5. I can forgive the tone of his voice, because holy shit what do we expect at this point!? 😂 But he needs to be on time, or at least closer. I’d pay (not $1400! 😅) to see it, and would like it to be my kids’ first concert. Hoping I get the chance if the band is up to it. I’d like to see anyone who’s dismissive of this do ANYTHING this ambitious or strong past age 65.. 😂 Rock on lads! 🤘 AC/DC forever! Bon and Mal are proud I’m sure!❤
A Volta da maior Banda de Rock'N'Roll do Planeta. Meu sonho é poder vê-los novamente. Vi o show deles em 1996 em Curitiba/PR mas ainda sonho em ver outro show dos velhinhos.
First off, the setlist alone makes this gig killer. Regardless of what anyone else thinks, my opinion, they sounded great in this recording. Would love to hear a soundboard rip. Mistakes and all. My question is what was up with the long pauses between songs?
@@martinsmith6540 sadly, age does it's thing, i won't deny they ain't the same. However, they still remain one of my fave bands, as they never lost the spirit and desire to entertain their fans. Hoping to see them in Europe again🤘
They sound decent for their age. It doesn’t help that they are performing for the worst crowd ever. They are so quiet that you can hear a pin drop. It’s almost like none of them know are familiar with ac/dc’s music. I’ve never seen a more mellower rock concert.
Acdc is a machine that will never die!harvesting new young and old recruits with there legendary sound!imagine discovering them for the first time again!🙏🤘
