If you'd like to see Angus Young go full throttle for close to 15 minutes, check out their video for Let There Be Rock, live at River Plate, from 2009. He does an amazaing solo, in two parts, and during the latter half of it, he has the entire audience eating out of his hands. It has been jokingly said about him that he could fall down a flight of stairs while playing the guitar and not miss a single note.
And by the way, AC/DC are currently out on tour in Europe, filling stadiums there. Brian Johnson, age 76, has been their lead singer since 1980, and Angus is now 69, but he still moves more than most other guitarists.
Ahh, the Bon Scott era which was from 1974 to 1980, when he passed❤ RIP He was a great lead singer. Angus Young is the lead guitarist doing his duck walk, wearing a school uniform, which was a suggestion of his sister. Malcolm Young (Angus’s brother) is on Rhythm Guitar. They are younger brothers to George Young who was in the band The Easybeats. Loved your reaction Roskoe.
I wouldn’t put this song in my top 3 songs of theirs, despite how good it is. My top 3 is Thunderstruck (played all over Australia at the BMX events I have been to), TNT and then a tie for Highway to Hell and You Shook me all night. Other notable songs, Let There Be Rock and Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. Such an Iconic band in Australia.
Angus Young is the guitarist, only 22 years old at this time. Bon Scott lesd vocals, Malcolm Young (Angus older brother) on rhythm guitar, Cliff Williams on bass, and Phil Ridd on drums. Bon Scott passed away in Fenruary 1980 and they recruited Brian Johnson to sing. He is still doing it now on a limited schedule. I've was lucky enough to have seen them 7 times from 1982 to 2010. They were always 🔥 🔥 🔥 One of my 3 favorite bands. Plenty to check out from them. Thanks for the reaction.
I think you should check out Riff Raff Official Video. Angus and Bon (and the rest of the band) were top tier in the 1970's. It's live from a concert in Glasgow.
