Professional RU-vidr and lazy dev tries Assetto Corsa EVO at SimRacing Expo! Terrible mic, awful camera placement, but you are here to know how it drives and you know it
Professional dev and lazy RU-vidr. Good to see you Aris. Thanks for showing up and sharing your impressions. We know there is a part of you in AC EVO too.
Grande Aris!
The video we were all waiting for. Thank you Aris! Everyone's pre-alpha videos have been great but to see Aris, who worked on the game, this impressed is impressive.
Awesome to see you driving again! Wonder whether the guys explaining the details knew who they were briefing or just gave the usual intro that everyone get...
C’è un po’ di tristezza a vederti fuori dal team.. mi fa sempre uno strano effetto! Ma sempre bello rivederti con del gameplay! Aspettiamo tanti contenuti qui su YT per AC EVO!
@@keithbriscoe99 I believe he did. And turned down/off the damping saying he wanted to feel everything (regardless if some of it would likely be damped in a real car). Then Aris said this rig felt under damped... Unless I misunderstood something.
Just add dampening when you are allowed to. No wait. AC Evo caters to the causal guy and didn't allow tuning... I'm confident the default tunings will be close to the best tunings. Otherwise they might as well admit defeat to Forza Motoraport.
Grande Aris! ❤🤘🏻 Non ti manca lavorare in Kunos ad Assetto Corsa? 😎 Great feedback from you as always, I want to think it's unbiased 😁 I'd like to know whether the AI will make a step ahead, because AI in simracing seems stuck in Jurassic age. AI drivers should have different behavior and skills and cars keeping on staying in the same line, like train carriages, is bad. Let's hope Kunos made a step ahead, but I'm worried... Davide Brivio told no safety car. I wonder why is so difficult to code a safety car in a racing sim. Looking forward to try the early access of AC EVO!
Until now this is the best interview ive seen to Maco here on youtune, though I have never seen anyone asking or anyting regarding the damage, which has me dead curios on how will damage behave on ACE, will it be like AC1? Or maybe more like iracing? Really curious since the demos at dortmnd all had damage off
"I hope they keep it like that!" me too! (said when he lost control and went off track~17:00.) This guy Aris dude is plugging AC Evo like it's a new dimension! How much did they pay this former CEO??? Feels bad. I don't know if I can trust.
I've noticed that even eSports guys spin out when playing this. Could it be that with Evo, the "average" sim racers close the gap a little to the "aliens"? I hope this because in ACC there's too big skill gap.
Will be like always... in the very first days / weeks aliens will be only a bit faster then a very good average driver... after that the aliens will destroy us normal guys again :)... the Aliens are just fast.. you can't do anything about it.. you just can't beat the sennas, schumachers and verstappens (in that case literally) of the simracing scene... you can give them awkward physics.. they will be fast.. you can give them the best physics possible.. they will be fast..
ACC gives you the options to tweak the colors, what your issue likely is is that it’s to contrasty. Bottom of the ACC graphics menu, turn contrast down by maybe 10%, you can do the same with maybe 5% saturation, that will likely get much closer to what you’re looking for. The lighting engine itself for ACC is really good, the issue is mainly just the color mapping.
dude, it's not even out in EA yet. It will be highly customisable. ACC has colour saturation options. Calm ye tits. Not to mention it can highly depend on the monitor/settings...
@@LordMonkus they using their inhouse engine instead of that crappy UE4 but they have same problems with running shadows and popups on the horizon, kinda laughable
I used to be like you but now I prefer to see the in game wheel, it helps confidence seeing how your physical wheel correlates with the sim and help me compensate for the slightest latency
They want to show wheel animations too. Personally I never minded it, used both with and without in AC1. What's the point of making cool hand-over-hand animations if everyone would turn it off. Some people don't
