Cool, just bought one. I'll put it on a WiFi switch so it turns off at 10pm so that it isn't loud while sleeping. That way I can have it on level 10 for the hour before bedtime to pre-cool the bedroom.

This is amazing can’t wait for my husband to watch it I am positive we are going to buy it. it’s only 70 bucks! we have a computer room that is always HOT. and yes I have a daughter that’s complaints about her room also. But head up, we are not waiting until she moves out. Hope you get a kick back on this product. I’m excited. 🤪. Ty so much

Hi, great video! Couple of questions... Are there units with different fan "torque"? If so, how's this measured just like BTU applies to air conditioning? As well, are there different qualities of these fans on the market?

Its a fan. It gies by cfm, this is probably around 200 cfm and there is 1 main brand in amazon that sells it.

I'm not sure and I don't have a way of testing it, but 200C FM would sound right

Hubby is concerned that the fan is to loud. Is it that loud when u are just standing in the room not close to it. Ps I love the way u are so down to earth. By the way, I don’t put screws in the vents either. Easier to clean down there once a year or once a decade.

the setting is on high ( 1 - 10 and it was on 10 in the video) she keeps it at 7 and its pretty quite. and she has not use the window AC since I installed the vent booster.

Ummm so I have one of these kind of put some misinformation out there it has three modes heat cool and fan on. In the heat or cool mode it automatically adjusts the fan speed to hurry up and get it down or up to whatever temperature it is set on the manual fan speed mode it can be set between 1 and 10 and it will never turn off.

it's about a degree warmer, because our AC unit shuts off before that point, but it's way more comfortable in that room now

Question if the ac from the house is on 70 degrees heat/cool setting would this be able to make it colder in my room? I conflict with my roommate about wanting it colder in my room

If you set this thing to 72F but set your house AC to 65F, will the vent fan stop once it senses 65F or does it keep blowing air?

if you are cooling it will stop after the temp goes below 72, or if you are heating it will stop after going above 72, however we just have it set with the fan speed set to 8 so it just stays on.

it would work just with the wire running down the wall.

Hi my vent size is 14 "x 8" for my vents I don't see that size in Amazon any ideas?

@@tanistech5770 i would love to see that. Our 1 bedroom is VERY hot & has no return vent but the air duct is tiny this wouldn't fit

So, in my house the duct is crushed under the house and only about half the air from the A/C unit makes it to that room, so this fan makes a huge difference for that room, no more window A/C and it was 114°F today. we have the house set to 78°F during the day and that room is 79°F

Its only worth it if your ac actually put out cold air just not enought speed from the blower. Get ac tuneup. This will not help if your ac puts out 75 degree air

if you move all the shit away from around the vent you wouldn't need that register booster.

yes, we would, the problem is that the ducting is crushed under the house and there is very little air flow to that room without it.
