This was the best review. I've been in the market for looking at lights because I have an old set of electric skies that I'm afraid once they stop working I'll never have a good light again... They are truly the best and it's sad that they went out of business but it looks like AC infinity picked up the pieces and put out some great product.. Thanks for the share

That Evo8 is already on my shopping list, along with a 5x5 infinity tent. My current 4x4 vivosun setup does the job but I wish I had done a little bit more research before purchasing a lower quality item. AC Infinity has been my go to ever since. Your videos have been awesome, I learn new stuff all time and have solved quite a few issue.

@aaronb9630Dude I did the exact same thing, purchased a 4x4 VIVOSUN kit, they sent me a 2x4 kit so they charged me full price of the 4x4, and trying to put me at fault! VIVOSUN HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I returned the VIVOSUN kit, ordered the AC INFINITY 5x5 pro kit, EVO 8 light and all that good shit!! It’s a HEFTY PRICE TAG FOR SURE BUT THE QUALITY IS AMAZING AND SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. ILL NEVER LOOK BACK !! AC INFINITY ALL DAY, ALL THE WAY!!👍🏽👍🏽💯

Would it be possible to be a test runner for you guys I’m just starting my journey into growing with some seeds I got from my amazing guy Dakota from @HomeGrowTV, and I’d love to get my self into the RU-vid grind to achieve what you all are doing now that has inspired to start up a channel. Since than I’ve had those seeds under a germination led kit and now their all in the 4x4 under Led shop lights. I’ve recorded a video for everyday these plants have been growing and I can’t wait to show you guys the results. But I’d love to test one of these out if it’s possible🙏🏻❤

Great work 😎🤙🇺🇲 I can tell you for sure the reduced blue spectrum is going to cause more stretch in those first weeks of flower. If you do a side by side with the s44 with clones from the same mom you will see 🙈.

Yep . People still stuck on this notion you need red for flower. It’s not needed as much as people think it is and like you said red causes stem elongation. Don’t necessarily do anything for flower. As someone who’s grown for 3 decades we old heads used to swap out the HPS in last 2 weeks of flower for MH to produce more resinous oil and persevere terpenes. Red is just added to boost system efficiency and has lil to do with actual flower production. Sure full spectrum works best but 4000k white light produces the danky dank with short dense flower.

@@timpage5021thank you for the info! I used to grow back in the day and I loved it. I have not dabbled in over 15 years. What are your thoughts on the AC Infinity Ionboard s44? I’m going crazy trying to figure out what light to get. I plan to get the 4x4 AC Infinity tent but I’ve read mixed reviews on the provided light. Any input would be amazing and extremely appreciated. I was looking at the Mars Hydro tent with the FC4800. Otherwise if these lights are mediocre, then maybe I skip a kit and buy everything separately.

@@BobbySouthBlvd I’d actually get the Gorilla grow tent 4x4 lite line and the Viparspecta KS5000 or Something similar like EVo 8 by AC infinity or Grow light Science 1800 it’s 420 dollar and kills in a 4x4. The Gorilla lite line is still heads and shoulders above the rest . And get the 1 foot extension . The way it opens all the way around and full access comes in clutch. They’re about 50$ more but way better quality and tent fabric is still thicker than anything else on the market.

@@timpage5021 awesome! I’m so happy you said that about the Viparspectra KS5000. That’s the light I was aiming for as of yesterday. However, some people say that even though the PPFD readings are nice and consistent, that it has to be too close to the plant and isn’t strong enough to hit the 2nd and 3rd tier buds during flowering. What are your thoughts? I’m willing to get the Viparspectra KS5000 but I’m also willing to go another step above that. I know how important the light can be when it comes to dense buds, quality and yields. I’d prefer to do it right the first time around and not have to upgrade in the next few years from being unsatisfied if you know what I mean. I’m a perfectionist and I’ll give this hobby 110% moving forward. I only took a break from growing due to living situations and state laws. I’m so excited that Minnesota, US finally approved recreational and growing. I have not been this excited in years lol. Thanks again for any input.

Thanks for all the hard work you guys do! This is one of my favorite channels to watch. Also, any input on the following would help and be appreciated. I recently ordered the AC infinity 4x4 tent kit with the evo8. However, the evo8 is out of stock until mid July. I’ve been researching lights like a mad man for the last few months and it’s driving me nuts. So many things to consider. Originally I was going with the light that came with the AC Infinity 4x4 which was the S44 grid. I read LED bar lights are better and distribute more evenly. So I then switched my mind to looking into the popular names such as Spiderfarm, Mars Hydro, and Viparspectra etc. I was told to stay away from over seas companies in case something goes wrong or you need customer support. Most people say it’s a nightmare to deal with. I was leaning towards the Viparspectra KS5000. After that dilemma, I switched over to looking at HLG, more AC infinity, and Grow light Science. HLG 750 Diablo GLS Progrow 1800 AC ainfinity EVO8 I picked the evo8 based on a seamless set up with the AC unit kit. Now I’m reading about the evo8 not having any Far Reds in it. I could switch my order since the Evo8 doesn’t come until mid July. Any suggestions on all of this would be helpful. I keep reading mixed opinions on the far reds too. Honestly, I want to be done with the light shopping situation after all of this. lol. One last question- I went with the Evo8 in a 4x4 for wall to wall coverage. But now I’m realizing the inline fan will be in the way if I grow taller plants and need the light to go higher. Right? So that’s another dilemma as the EVO8 is 44”x44”.

What I'm finding with the 6500 I bought. Is the plants can't take all the light intensity the light can produce. I'm 4th wk of flower and got the dial set at about 60% at 28 inches. Cuz 75% was way to much. And the girls are loving it buds are looking good an the leaves are super happy.

The way of the new lights are separated into bars and the outside driver I could see a big improvement in heat reduction and distribution inside the grow tents. S44 is great for a beginner, if you end up loving growing and stick with it, IonFrame is gunna be the better option with higher output and better coverage over the whole 4x4! We have grow a bunch out with the S44 it's solid for a beginner, if there is room in your budget IonFrame is gunna give you much better coverage!

The PAR value distribution of EVO8needs improvingThere's a noticeable difference in light intensity, with the hotspot being over 1200 and the edges only reaching 400. It’s not great that there’s such a difference.🙂

I'm a new grower and having an issue no one can seem to answer as to what the issue is. Im growing a gorilla zkittles auto flower from Barney farms. The plant was doing incredible for the first 3 weeks. Went into flower and I put the plant through some s&!t 😅. I'll leave it at that but it has stayed alive and health(ish) for the entire grow save for a transplant issue and nutrient burn because of it right after them suffered light burn. The plant started growing strange 3 finger dan leaves EVERYWHERE. it's the only kind she's growing still. She has turned hermaphrodite but seems the flower growth has completely ceased. Anyone have any idea of what's going on and what I should do?

Drivers mounted outside the grow spot always. What is the power draw from a monthly electric bill on one of these babies I mean it draws 500-1000 watts? so viewers can decide to buy one or not or stick with HPS and MH. Plus you cant change the bulbs on LEDS. Awesome show btw fellas and thanks for posting the info.
