This is an AC Infinity Register Booster Fan, with Thermostat Control. The one I have here is for 4x12-inch register holes. This is the standard size. Let me show you how this works, and how to use it.
The system is designed to be installed into your existing wall or floor register, Essentially, what it has is a smart booster fan system designed to be installed into your existing wall or floor register. This quietly increases airflow coming from your central heat and air conditioning systems.

Just wanted to clarify something that most people miss. the set temperature on the device is the temperature it will turn on and off as in supply air temp not current room temp for example if you set the thermostat on the booster fan vent to 64° in cooling, the booster fans will not come on until the air coming out of the vent is 64° (about 4 minutes after A/C has kicked on) NOT UNTIL THE ROOM IS 64°. The fans will shut off again when the temp raises above 64° again (typically about 3-5 minutes after your A/C has shut off). You can buy a separate plug in thermostat that plugs into the outlet and then you can control the temp from that. Just look up “plug and play thermostat controller” or just plug it in as is

If I have my main thermostat set to Cool @ 72 what setting would I use on the vent booster? I feel like mine runs all the time.

@@cindihartmann8495 if the booster vent fan is running all the time and your system is running all the time, the device is doing what it’s supposed to do but if your system is cycling on and off and the device is still running after 5 minutes of the A/C shutting down there is a problem there. i would recommend turning up the temperature on the device up a few degrees on the booster and turning up the fan to increase airflow. or you can just go to another register in the house and take a infrared thermometer and see what temperature it reads. then go back to the smart vent and adjust about 3° above temperature that was read at the other vent. typically a good baseline temp would probably be around 64° on the booster display in cooling. then if you want 72° exactly in the room you can get a plug and play thermometer on amazon for about 20 bucks. it plugs into the wall outlet then you can control the actual room temperature. but first increase airflow and set temperature on the actual booster

Can you help me? I bought two of these to increase heat in an room I had added onto my house. Its always cold in the room so I'm trying to increase heat flow but they runs all the time. I have my thermostat in house set at 71, What should I have this set at?

I have a question. So our house thermostat is set to 71F for Heat. My husband set this booster fan for heat trigger for like 113. Is that right? Or should it be lower?

EDIT: I'd like to edit my comment: It was totally user error. I was able to fix the issue in less than 3 minutes after watching the video. If I caused any lack of belief or trust in this company to anyone who read my comment I'm truly sorry. I would and will and have since totally recommend this product!! ORIGINAL COMMENT: First off , I have to say it makes a HUGE difference in the room. Much cooler now!! however, mine seems to just run all the time. I have temp set at 74 and our house AC at 74 but still... Fans just always run. ???

This can pull airflow from anywhere (essentially this is just a fan) but this is NOT designed to work with mini-splits.

How do I stop the fans from constantly running while my ac unit isn’t kicked on? The fans won’t turn off and turn on when needed.

I just bought this and I’m so confused. The thermostat in my parents house is on 78. The spare bedroom is so hot. When I pulled the device out the package, it automatically registered at 82 degrees in the room. So what should I set the vent at? Please and thank you for the help! Because I’m sweating! Lol

Set it for 64. You only want it running when the AC compressor kicks on. When this happens the air coming out of the vent should be below 64. The vent fan comes on. Once the AC kicks off the vent fan temp rises to that of the room temperature and kicks off. You only want this running when the AC is running.

You don't need to use screws if using this on the floor. Gravity will take care of it!

You have to measure your vent size (inside height/width). The one in the video is 4x12in.

The fans are just computer fans, they are not “optimized” for air restriction applications.

All you can do is select your fan speed, but you can control when to run them.

You have to measure the inside walls of the vent. And it seems your vent is kind of square -- very odd, as we haven't seen a size like that for these products.

To change the temperature scale between Fahrenheit and Celsius, hold the up and down buttons simultaneously until the letters change. All digits displayed will be automatically converted to the designated scale. Hope this helps.
