I have this problem with my SC joint. The Dr said that my only option was to strengthen the back of my shoulder. This video was very helpful and encouraging. I don't see the follow up video using a pad to put more pressure on the joint. Can you please let me know what I should use for a pad?
My sterno clavicle joint bruises and turns extremely red ever since I had an popping sensation in my right collarbone. I just want to know could it be infected? Is that why it is turning red and purple bruising around it. Then I went to the doctor did a X-Ray but the doctor said im fine but I keep attempting to explain to him. That the proper "imaging" would be a M.R.I titled at a 45 degree angle.
Sir, I have a question for you. I am 17 years old. When I raise my arm up, the right sternoclovical joint comes forward, there is no pain and swelling, I did not take it in a blow, but I use my shoulder a lot and it bothers me that it comes forward, do you think there is a dislocation?
will this help an sc injury that is almost 8 months old? i’ve been to ortho, PT & chiro with no help. now have issues in my bicep, tricep & neck. SC joint is still out of place : ( all the practitioners i’ve seen have little to no experience with this injury.
We’ve done a bunch of videos on sc joint. Check those out. Can definitely be adjusted. You want to measure by xray. If one is higher by more then 5 mm it’s separated. You’ll need to tape it down. We’ve done videos on the taping too.
That depends on length of tape of course. But you want to make sure to intersect or cross the tape over the sc joint. Where your clavicle meets your sternum. You will feel a notch as you slide your had and fingers along the top of the clavicle
