@@TSTseminars do I need a tank connected to co2 or will it work without?
@TSTseminars
@TSTseminars 4 года назад
Victor the form only works with CO2. First all the Refrigerant has to be Recovered and then Evacuated for a few minutes. Next charge the system up with CO2... about 200 psi and use the CO2 Leak Detector to located the area. Next once the area is located ...you just need to spray the form to find the exact location of the leak. Hope that helps...thanks for watching....If you have not already subscribed to our tstseminars RU-vid channel please do so. Interested in more training? Love the Bullseye, money maker for sure. Semi-related question, what size CO2 tank are using? It looks about the right size to drag across the shop without killing yourself. Thanks!

Joe its about a 3 ft 20 ibs bottle. Airgas will sell you the bottle only. To fill it roughly about 28 bucks. You can purchase a 200lbs regulator for CO2 online from about 90 bucks. First. Set up an air gas account. Then get a 60 cubic foot or an 80 cubic foot tank. Any bigger is tough to manage without a tank dolly. I have nitrogen tank for tires. CO2 is a great idea but the cost of the sensor... I have CO2 tank for Snap-On smart smoker. Very nice. I could but the $1,400 add on kit. Otherwise is 2-3k.

I want that leak detector system sooooo bad. I know it’s an accurate time saver. But, the cost!

Paul E I agree with you on cost. It is a great idea. It works but for a shop or person who is not really busy it’s a cost.

It's a great tool and I hear what your saying about cost. But this tool will make you your money back in no time. You know it takes money to make money. Remember besides AC, EVAP, tires or anything that holds something, engine oil leaks and way more. Hey thanks for your comment and for watching. It SHOULD be a shop tool but my boss won’t buy it because they don’t sell it at Harbor Freight!
@TSTseminars
@TSTseminars 5 лет назад
@@PaulyD0859 I would agree it should be a shop tool. Sorry that your boss does not see the value in a good tool. He needs to up date so he does not evaporate. I do understand owning a shop there are a bunch of expenses but without the right tools and equipment you are either working harder, possibly misdiagnosing or just losing money. Good luck and thanks for your comment.

You said in the beginning this would not work well with small leaks. Do you NOT recommend this setup for small leaks?? Thank you
@TSTseminars
@TSTseminars 5 лет назад
No you may have misunderstood, it is great on small leaks since CO2 is a very small molecule that is easier to find the small leaks. Thank you for your question and for watching. Has co2 been approved for 1234yf
@TSTseminars
@TSTseminars 5 лет назад
Tim CO2 can be use once all the refrigerant is removed. So weather its R134a or R1234yf you can use CO2 to check for leaks you just have to remember to exhaust the CO2 into a clean shop rag slowly to make sure that not a lot of oil comes out. Please go look at our AC R1234yf and the CO2 videos on this channel. Thanks for your question and for watching. If you have not already Subscribed to our tstseminars RU-vid channel please do so.
