Exactly, Ruben Ira Loftus-Cheek just looking so flat. And yes deserved no red a black box he not defending no creativity. And to day is not the only game he being play so bad .
I disagree with some comments, on several occasions Fofana can be seen struggling but where is RLC, most times ball watching but I understand that this is a new role for him and it may take time to understand what is required. There is a lack of courage from most of the players to make that one time central pass, only Tijjani does it everyone else hesitates and this kills forward flow. Leao playing zero defense is a major problem because that destabilize the midfield and the defense especially when Theo is caught further upfield, it is crazy that Tammy runs to the wing behind Leao to tackle a player, that affects the entire team's defensive structure. Tomori needs to work on his ball playing skills cause everything he fumbles with the ball he gets swarmed and begins to panic, Pavlovic has to understand his role, continuously holding and running with the ball isn't it. Fonseca still has plenty work to do with this team because Pioli style of play still shows
There is enough of a sample size to say this: after Fonseca made a comment in preseason about wanting Milan to invite pressure by playing out of the back *slowly* and holding the ball until somebody comes at you, I've seen them doing this *persistently* and it Doesn't. Work. They started doing it again and slowed the game to a crawl right after Puli scored. One, they never picked up the pace again, and lost the ball doing it consistently all match. And two, it allowed Liverpool to take over the match. They were shaken and rocked by the quick goal. Milan invited them back in. They seem to think they can turn their attack on and off like a switch. They can't. Also... Everybody was like See?! Leao and Theo are fine after Venezia. They're not. I guess you just don't have enough boxes for them to get the reds they earned today. Leao dribbling into schoolboy traps all match. Didn't make a single progressive pass. Rjeinders too. Dribbled right into his defender when he had options both left and right. That was actually the last time he did anything at all the whole game. I'm not buying what Fonseca is selling. Please don't tell me he hasn't had time. Tuchel came into a Chelsea squad that was leaking goals like a sieve, and immediately turned them into the toughest defense in the prem. And it was arguably their defense that won them the CL. A great coach can make an immediate impact. Fonseca had a full preseason to work with. They're worse. Not better. Worse.
@@maudalmusicalmachines3541tuchel destroyed Chelsea. Chelsea had good players but Milan midfield is shit that literally creating pressure in defence upon that in Defence we hv Calabria who is average & Emerson who is worst. With Leo Pulisic morata & Tammy we have a title challenging attack but midfield sucks. Reijnders is good but we definitely need box to box midfielder who can help defence and attack both. Till midfield not improved no point of blaming manager. Major blame goes to management for the poor transfer business
@@geetheshkumar397 ignorance [about Chelsea] is bliss. Milan had an overall comparable squad to Leverkusen when Alonso drove them through the Bundesliga like a truck. Like them, we have a few game changers, a few more good players and more professionals who can do a job for the squad. But you have to know how to *use* them all to their strengths! Fonseca has this idea of how he wants to play, but it has little to nothing to do with the players he has.
My girlfriend watched a few minutes with me, and knowing bery little about football, she said: it looks like the Milan players just do not put in the same effort as the Liverpool ones, they look tired... coming from someone who has fresh eyes, I believe that describes it perfectly.
Gerry Cardinale has got to go. He needs to bring Moncada and Furlani with him. I hope the rumors are true that Maldini visited Saudi Arabia to find a new owner for this once great club. Milan fans cant stand redbird anymore.
I don’t believe the rumours are true, but if Milan keeps going like this the stadium will be empty and the best players will be sold… then Cardinale will sell the club
Why the hell is no one mentioning our world class keeper today? Two blunders that lead to two goals. At the first goal cannot jump over a player and the second doesn’t jump at all! Imagine getting outjumped while having hands advantage. Both goals in the keeper zone.
Pulisic was quiet all game due to him being stuck doing defensive responsibilities trying to help Calabria keep Jota and Gakpo at bay. And when Milan did have the ball it mostly went up the middle or his teammates would end up passing it to Leao like they always do.
Our main problem is that our management did not buy playmakers or defending midfielders; except for Bennacer (who was on the market), we only have box-to-box midfielders. Then we have a coach who refuses to assess the situation and switch to five defenders (like Inter does). Given this context, every game is an uphill battle undermining our players' confidence. I am afraid this is not going to get better anytime soon.
It seems like Top 4 is the only demand, these players are good enough to beat the smaller sides but beating the big ones just isn't possible without the coach truly extracting the best out of them in an ideal system.. which doesn't yet seem to be developing.
@@footballkushngl not having Pulisic as one of the few bright spots in terms of players kinda comes across as hating...had a strong first season that is carrying on to this year and Literally the only consistent player rn who happens to lead in scoring and one of 12 players in the top 5 league since last year with double digit goals and assists
Christian was playing super well this game, but the problem is no one is giving him through-balls. Its like Milan sees sending Christian a long ball is a waste. Reality is thats where he scores the most.
I see him making runs behind the line the entire game and they maybe give him a through ball once a game. Lack of vision and ability from midfield? Or lack of strategy from the coach? Not sure, but either way it’s not helping.
Not surprised at all.. after Venezia a few supporters got ahead of themselves. This was a reality check. Also, agree about Tammy, you can see his effort👏👏

Why would you even hire a guy with this philosophy? Its the worst way to play. You need to get down the field while the defense is recovering. Inviting pressure in wastes time...
I don't understand why yo still don't respect Christian Pulisic he is the best offensive player on your team. please stop hating on him. you should focus on Fonseca his waaaaay lost and below the level of Milan.
Fans outside of Milan know Leao is completely overrated, for every one slick move, he either plays a poor pass, no pass or loses the ball. He also shows no leadership qualities. Pulisic and Reijnders should be the cornerstones to build
Leao is terrific he's just not the scorer people pretend he is. He never was. When Puli came into the team I tried telling Milan fans that he would consistently outscore Leao and they acted insulted. Abraham and or Morata will also outscore Leao.
Bruh is such a pulisic hater man. Best player on the team this year, following a solid season and still not willing to include him in best players on Milan
A lot of Milan supporters that have followed the team and Calcio since they were born stated about all the issues that we have and about all mistakes that this management has done in months...and the other half of AC Milan fans insulted them...time always show the true and here we are...unfortunately with this management and owner we will never win again....People now complain about Fonseca but who choose him? Do you remember the Ibra Pagliaccio words ?
As Liverpool fan, I can say AC Milan is the easiest compared to ManUnited, Brentford, Ipswich, Nottingham Forest. It is 80% long term coach problem. Liverpool are trained to press many years during Klopp. That's why AC Milan got totally no chance in midfield. & then with Arne Slot tactics, AC Milan can't even build up! I saw the GK & CB were so stressed to pass in front. Every team studies opponent tactics & brief players to build up before game, I definitely don't see at AC Milan. Liverpool get most the ball because when they defend, all the players are moving together in the right way. Then I saw Milan players were tortured & uncomfortable throughout the game, Liverpool was just waiting for chance to exploit & win.
Fonseca is that Porto coach that has leaked probably the most goals against Liverpool in CL. Fellow still hasn't learn that he needs to park the bus against Liverpool. Trying to go toe to toe with this Liverpool team is suicide
If Fonseca doesn't get the result against inter he has to get fired. Only five matches you say, but in those five matches he only has one win against probably the worst team in Serie A. You say there were same issues with Pioli, yes but pioli at least got the result most of the time. He won scudetto, brought us to UCL semi final, and was second last season with a obviously worse squad than what Fonseca has now. Fonseca played against average and bad teams, only Lazio is decent and he got a draw which I blame him on because he benched Leao and Theo, then against only good team yesterday, he lost 3:1 in a match where we scored in first five minutes, and not only a result problem but we played so bad that it was unwatchable. If we give him more time we will sacrifice this whole season...
Pioli got results most of the time, but his last 10 games on our bench were 2 wins (Lecce & Cagliari), 4 draws and 4 losses. And we looked absolutely horrible in most of those games, especially in the 2 losses against Roma in Europa League.
@@tunerr1 1 yes, during the end of piolis time we were very bad, that's why he got sacked. He said we should stick with Fonseca because the same problems of this season were also there with Pioli but he got fired because of that. 2 the reason we were more patient with Pioli is because he actually did something with the club. He brought us back a scudetto after ten years of waiting. What did Fonseca do to deserve that patience?
Let’s not give Leao the pass here at all. For 55 ish games now I’ve watched every minute of AC Milan from pretty optimistic but analytical viewpoint and I can tell you since pulisic arrived there has been a complete dip in leaos performance and ability to offensively lead a team. I think you’re really witnessing it now bc he subbed off one game and then benched, yes he came on to score which was amazing. And this isn’t me thinking pulisic is above critique. He’s not. But he’s a far better captain or leader who can galvanize a side. Also Leao touched the ball plenty in the game he was just compelty blocked off from the middle and chose not to use left foot to cross. In addition once again when he had Christian alone with a clear path to goal he chose to try and beat the third defender and if to say, my dribbling matters more. It just does. I’m constantly impressed by how Leao can frustrate me and inspire me. But it’s getting old. Bc the game was In the balance and no one is pointing to that. Also. Reeindeers needs to be benched bc his poor offensive game got even worse by completely sleeping while his men scored on corner kicks. Huge red box.
The defending from Milan is some of the worst I've ever seen. Defenders trying to play out of the back are consistently just handing it over to the opposition right in the middle of the pitch basically teeing it up to have a shot on goal. The "defenders" look like they're actors trying to portray real defenders but don't really know how... It's pathetically bad. Also Leao is supposed to be this amazing player but was completely locked down by the worst Prem league defender in Alexander-Arnold... This team does not look cohesive or together in any way. I'm wondering if they're missing the veteran leadership of Giroud? Something is severely lacking. Leao is a talent, but i just don't think he's a great teammate... Same could probably be said for Theo... I thought he should have brought on Okafor for Leao early in the 2nd half because Leao was doing nothing... I think Milan should sell Leao and Theo for as much as possible and start over... I know that's going to piss people off but those 2, as talented as they are, didn't have their heads in the match yesterday... Milan also need an all new defense cause my god they were horrendous...
Right. The defense is really bad and its not going to get better. Fonseca was a bad hire. Its not too early to say it. Its clear to everyone that the defense is disorganized.
I believe today's game showed two important things for the Milan Fanbase. One, some Milan players have more heart than the others in a game whether it is Serie A or UCL. What they don't have is consistency and that is not because the squad was renewed with new additions and with a new coach but they are a team full of players who are known for their individual flashiness. For Example, we all know how good Tomori is but every time he gets the ball, he hesitates to make a pass, as if he gets nervous. Milan's backline as individual players is really good. But they don't sync enough to compliment each other's strong zones. Secondly, this Milan team doesn't have the power to be decisive and command over their opponents. I think modern football has taught us that decision-making is the key part of a game. Chances will come and go, but it is up to the players to make the best of it. What I saw during the preseason was how fast Milan's passing was. Which I have not seen in the past few games. I believe this team will turn around very soon but they need exceptional decision-making skills on the pitch. We cannot change how terrible Calabria gets in certain games, and we cannot ignore how fragile our defense has become, but we also cannot unsee that most of the players that were bought to strengthen the squad were all attackers. Again, I hope they perform at their best against Inter. As a Milan fan, I wish them the best for the game but they need to stick to a plan! they need to take command of a game!
You are correct that a game with Liverpool won't sack Fonseca alone, but there definitely is a win to number of games ratio that will get him fired, and big games count into that as well.
This is a huge downgrade compared to the level we reached under Pioli and maldini. Instead of taking steps forward, the horrid show we saw is a 10 steps back
I hated the Pioli firing. There was no one clearly better to replace him. Pioli is always going to get the team in the top 2 or 3 so I'd rather let a guy like that try to clsoe the gap with Inter.
@@mattsmith1126 and i wanted him to show what he can do with a real striker. I mean Milans main striker was Giroud for two years! His best football was when he had good DM and CAM. Positions that were never replaced. Not fair to any coach.
Redbird has to go! We need owners who actually give a fuck. Didn’t the ownership say they were gonna give of a budget of 150-250 max but the only budget we get and use is from our own players that we sell. We should have never sold Tonali. We’re buying these low quality players who are cheaper thinking we found gold. Like Lotus Cheek he’s a mediocre of a player.
Fonseca ball = guaranteed 2 goals conceded. Getting Giampaolo vibes. I'll give him another month. We need someone like Sarri not a joke like Fonseca. What was management expecting??? I think I'll skip the Inter game :(
This is the norm so nobody is surprised anymore. You can be surprised the first 4 times, but then there's no more point. Midfield tactics are cooked, generally we have no midfield, only half of an attack and half of a defense
Kush, to me, a weakness in your commentary is the lack of analysis that includes the defense of the other team. In this case, you note that Pulisic seemed to "fade away' for the rest of the game. Did Liverpool adjust their defense to take away his opportunities by marking him with a better player? Did they adjust positions and assignments? I enjoy your commentary, but I think you're missing part of the picture.
Fade away always refers to asserting yourself on the game, it is okay to make mistakes and unable to get past the opposition due to improved marking. But when you don't involve yourself in the game, you "fade away" which is what happened with Pulisic late on and with the rest of the squad much earlier on.
@kush you absolutely hit the nail on the head talking about the mentality of the players. This is something I've said time & time again. We've had the same issues since the Pioli days, the players have a mental block and keep making the same mistakes. They lack courage, grit and determination. This issue needs to be resolved first & foremost before you start looking at formations and tactics. If the players don't follow instructions, they don't give their all, it doesn't matter what coach you get, the issues will persist.
Sometimes people forget how poor Inter were under Inzaghi, how he was on the verge of getting fired, then they brought in personnel to work on the player's mentality and mindset and they never looked back!
That was a rough match to watch. Almost every goal was self-inflicted, caused by our own errors. The whole team looked shaky. Individual mistakes all over the place all match long. The pressure cooked them after the second goal. Very sad to see. Pavlovic seemed under pressure, like he wasn’t ready for a match of this caliber. Reminds me of Thiaw having to play the big games and completely faltering. Hopefully just a bad match in the larger scheme of things. Calabria didn’t take Gakpo seriously. Gakpo is underrated due to his time at Liverpool but there was a reason they sign him. He’s got insane potential. Amazing on the ball even though he doesn’t always look flashy. Calabria should have been close to him all match and very careful. Calabria just isn’t good anymore…. Good shoutout on Tammy. He looked good vs Venezia. Looked hungry against Liverpool. Hope he stays fit. So glad you touched on Fofana. Last video I commented on him saying that he cool fill the Kessie roll. Well, yesterday showed otherwise, at least for now. There were SO MANY times where he put in an awful tackle or lost his marker and let someone in the midfield turn toward our goal. There were multiple times he could have stop counter attacks and blundered. It happens sometimes but he was beat nearly every time he went 1 on 1 against an attacker. It was really poor. Maybe time will show otherwise but he was not in form yesterday. The whole tactical set up was a dumb idea. It’s a good idea against an opponent that sits deep and you need to open them up. But Liverpool just presses high and opens themselves up. Just give it to Leao and allow him to beat 3 guys on the dribble. He doesn’t need to be set up for 1v1s. He can beat 1,2,3 guys when he get the ball to his feet. Plus, Leao doesn’t even make great runs in behind defenses. We also don’t have players with solid long range passes to supply him when he has the space. Plus, if he loses the ball while he’s in space then you set up a perfect counter attack for Liverpool. It makes absolutely no sense. Poor tactical setup. Also, Maignan. C’mon buddy. That was poor. First goal should have been saved by him. If you come out you better win the ball. No one should be able to head the ball higher than you can punch. And why didn’t he come off during the half? Maybe the coach? Idk. But he wasn’t well in the first half and he was hobbling when he came on for the second half. He’s not been the same since the title. Injuries have done a number on him. Hope he finds his form and beats these injuries. Great video btw. Good analysis. Sad day. Hopefully we find a bit more fire in our bellies for Inter.
Today was what's become of typical milan -Excellent GK but injury prone, torriani's first 2 matches will be vs Liverpool and inter. -No DM, a hole in middle -RB being absolutely clueless, can't tell who's worse -Leao being flickering lightier, sometimes on fire but mostly annoyingly useless. -The players showing most grit was tammy who isn't even a milan player, just a dry loanee. Only improvement seemed was mortata was more alive than Giroud which isn't very hard thing to do. Onto next nightmare l, inter. Forza Milan 🔴 ⚫
I mean he is fair. He criticizes them while giving them credit for what they do right. The fanbase tends to be unhappy with everything and they blame the owners for everything which isn't fair
I am a milan fan since inter was irrelevant and hadn't won a scudetto since 1989 and whatever european trophy they had won, was a uefa cup.I don't recognize this club anymore. This is not milan, Ownership and managment are in a super red box, they are to blame.
The players at Milan are good but the coaching is an issue... I don't think you let a fairly good coach like Pioli go unless you have a clearly better replacement.
Everyone here knows Milan's problems almost entirely, but not everyone agrees on how to solve them. As is typical in football, we always go for the weakest and easiest to replace : the coach. But to summarize, in the Liverpool match, 4-2-4 that's how Fonseca pressed. How did Liverpool press? Ironically, they also pressed 4-2-4. The exact same tactic in most instances. I’ll bring up the clips later, it's not just talk. What made the difference? First, they pressed forward while we dropped back, not attacking the ball. Milan was pressing while being afraid, unlike Liverpool, where everyone participates with intensity even after conceding a goal from it, but the team's character shows. This was something Fonseca mentioned from the first preparatory match, stating that the team gets mentally lost, fear creeps in, and they start retreating. Secondly, a player like VVD takes the ball with the courage to play it between Tij and Morata or TIj and Rafa with such confidence that he bypasses the entire line of press, leaving us with a 7-on-6 and numerical inferiority. They were physically, mentally, and tactically better at pressing players, especially the less skilled ones. Pavlovic and Tomori, you can't build an attack from the back with them, but I can’t blame the coach for trying. Building from the back is basic in modern football. In the first goal, there was no communication between the maignan and his defenders. Zero marking, and the player scores. The second goal was the same play from the opposite side, six meters in, and it’s a goal. No marking, and neither the defense nor the goalkeeper reacted. How many misplaced passes did Pavlovic make? Tomori, Calabria passing under pressure, is this tactics? The coach’s fault? Our players seem to lack the basics of football. The first thing to do when you think of playing forward is Moving without the ball forward, these are basics! We're building from the back, no one moves ? Reijnders drops down, or sometimes Pulisic, to help, and we lose depth upfront. Then when we do get the ball out, we find Rafa alone, who’s either 1v2 or 1v3 sometimes. Theo Hernandez holds the ball every time to make runs, why? If players trusted each other, things would be better, but now they have no trust. I said the attack must hold the ball to give the rest some relief. Maignan likely faked injury twice to break the pressure and give the team a breather. First, it was the right knee, then the ankle. We played, and we know he wasn’t hurt until he really got hit by Tomori and the Gakpo. No one was able to hold the ball. The only one in midfield with the technical ability to hold onto the ball is Reijnders, but he can't do it alone.
We need to bench Leao and start Chukwueze. Leao is so flashy that it makes it seem that he's class, but he loses the ball too often, doesn't pick out the right pass. I remember there was a moment where Leao dribbled past a couple of defenders and had the opportunity to pass it through to Pulisic and he took some more time dribbling and won a free kick. Yeah winning a free kick is great, but you could've had an assist.
I would suggest bringing Leao into the 10 position. He's trying to isolate and run at defenses every time. Its too predictable. He needs some time coming back to the ball to learn how to play in a different way.
@@mattsmith1126 No way bro. Leao is too selfish, he won't pass the ball. The '10' is the most important position, it's the facilitator. Puli or Reijnders can play there, one of those two. Leao is like a true winger, no way he can be converted.
Hey Kush, I agree that we can't change the Coach all the time. I feel like we give him time to do what he wants to do and then review his work mid season.
Liverpool didn't press Pavlovic and that imo made him more nervous as it made his responsibility for build up obvious and got to his head. He can pass but he just needs experience, security and needs to adapt to the level.
I excpet that the management hires a coach that is capable of doing some real changes, given that he had all the preseason, instead we got Fonseca...........
Win as a team, lose as a team. Individual errors were a factor, but let's be honest, Liverpool are a class above. You can't equate this Milan to the likes of Liverpool, ManCity, Real, and even Inter, when conceding two goals from the corner spot. Milan were outmuscled, outdueled and outplayed. The part that hurts the most is that this squad is not yet a team, as witnessed by how easily they collapse and fall apart.
Where I disagree is that statistically Milan has not been too bad defensively, but knowledgeable fans recognize that the defense has no instructions and no scheme. They are just running around. Every time I have seen this it meant the team was going to have a bad season and the coach was going to get fired. It doesn't bother me at all that Milan lost some games, it bothers me that the defense has no organization.
I think the decision to play on the right worked for about 10 minutes. After that, either Van Dijk or the coach noticed and adjusted. Pulisic tried to dribble too much. After we scored we should have adjusted, Fonseca should respect the rival and have a game plan for going ahead early. We ALL know how an early goal changes tactics for both teams. To continue to try to play the same way throughout the entire game was a fools errand. The tactics worked in the first 3 minutes, now adjust and create a more balanced team and utilize Leao and Theo on the counter.
Raphael Leao looks like he does not care about the team and fans, looks uninterested . How many opportunities did he missed? Yet his ball possession is high, so are his turnovers. He acts like a diva.
WHEN HE SAID” you can’t expect a coach to come in and just take 5 games to completely revolutionise and change everything” Tuchel did exactly that at Chelsea my club. If tuchel was given the money and structure pep has he would do what pep can do if they was both given scraps tuchel would make gold pep would struggle. That’s the difference
One bright spot aside from Pulisic goal - Torriani. The kid stepped in after the veteran was hurt and seems comfortable despite still being just a kid. I recall watching him in NYC vs MC and he was good.
I would have Never thought that i would Say this because i thought he would be a Flop but i feel Bad for pulisic. Feels Like hes the only player in our squad that really want to win something. Another Point is the way we Gave it away. 2 Similar goals in just a Couple of minutes. We have literally No presence in our goal area. Next thing Calabria. He Played like shit for 2 years now & they really Managed to sign the only Right back in Europe that is Even WORSE. 😂😂 this is just a joke
As a Milan Fan this is how i have to look at it..Serie A is a farmer’s league Milan in any top 3 leagues would be fighting relegation and Mid table at best. Manage your expectations because this is a business for the American owners. The Golden Silvio Berlusconi days are far gone 😞
They were all horrible, every single one of our players. Even my favorite Capt. America scored but kept turning it over like everyone else. A disaster of epic proportions. Should have been 6-1. 3-1 was us with luck.
Defence is non existent and constantly trying to play out from the back without proper game plan is suicidal. We played most of the first half with an injured Maignan who was useless especially in set pieces. Our defence seems like it’s on track to completely flood Milan with how many leaks the backline has.
Both teams have new coaches for the season,Same players from last season , it's only Milan who brought in new players than liverpool. I think the difference is that Liverpool has a winning mentality all done by Klopp for years. They have won more Grand trophies than Milan.Milan can only Boast of only a league Win and a UCL semis which we were humiliated by Citi rivals. We should be patient with the Coach and Management. It's a work in progress. They need our maximum support. I also think slot inherited a good team from Klopp than Fonseca did with Pioli. Inzaghi ,inter coach didn't have it smooth in his first season but they were on course. Let's support the team. I see some improvement which can get better with time. Forza Milan
@@francescobotti3544 Hahahaha, you may see it burning and crumbling down, but I don't see it that way. Do you expect things change after 5 games, then am sorry go follow and different sport. With this current management I sad/mad because when are we going to become an ELITE club again ? I’m thinking this management are happy with just being in the Champions league, but if we think about it we’re not even improving/becoming a stronger team we’re kinda going downhill in the league and in champions league.
This team has no heart no protagonist on the ground. Protagonist who encourage them. We need that protagonist like tonali who has that Milan fire in him. And every player should remember that they are not bigger than the club. No team spirit.
I just can’t believe they’ve fired Pioli and brought a shittier coach. The most important thing for a team is a good coach and they picked Fonseca. I blame the management for that decision and they should correct it as soon as possible. They just wanted to save some money with this pick and they gonna pay 2 coaches soon. What an idiots. I’ve already lost the passion for this team, but not the club! They brought the banter era back. Just the colours left… Sempre Milan! 🔴⚫️
Now I understand what Rafael Benitez meant and why he was so annoyed, everybody wants to play the pep style build from the back we played too many passes with the GK and Liverpool's press put our players under pressure horrible performance from everybody except pulisic Mike needs to put the ball in the middle of the ground and stop playing short passes the pulisic goal also came like that RLC despite his huge physique was useless
Pep plays out of the back when it is necessary. He doesn't invite and wait for pressure. I don't like that philosophy at all. You have to get the ball forward when there are openings.
I was watching Vini Jr. on replay against Stugarrt. All i could think was if only our players could play with that fire. Vini Jr needs to win. He is tenacious on the ball, making runs AND getting back and attacking his man on defence. Our players lack this fire and its sad to watch in the field.
the main problem is the management, we did not replace gazidiz, maldini and even massara properly. But change of coach is a must. When there 0 improvement after 4-5 games, then it is time to change. Remeber, that keeping Pioli for 4 years got us here. He screwed everything so deep that it's gonna stink for a long time. It might take a few coaches to fix his fuck up. Change the f coach and management.
Man look Leao is a very talented player, but he’s also super hyped to a level I honestly don’t see him reaching in his career. Kush says he didn’t receive the ball that much, I beg to differ. In the second half he had the ball making a run & could’ve attempted a through ball but chose to keep it & take his man on & got dispossessed. Another time he made a bad pass that lead directly to a Liverpool counter. All in all, the “big time” players have to step up in games like this. This new UCL format is setup like a league so Milan are in need of points if they want to advance
I was always giving the management a break but this summer showed their true colors. How can you give Juve Kalulu and buy Emerson is just doesn't make ANY sense. Compounded with a lack of investment in defense when the obvious problem since 2022 was leaking goals is just ridiculous. The problem was never Leao or Fonseca imo its the lack of investment in defense. Great video as always Kush.
At this point i believe Zlatan and management is the problem and not the coach. All the purchases and sales were made while the coach had zero influence in the decisions.
Up until the Pulisic goal Milan looked great, I’ve never seen a team lose confidence so quickly and weirdly enough it was after the first Milan goal. It was such a weird 5 minutes immediately after with Theo going down injured or whatever that was? It’s like the momentum complete shifted. Mike limping and trying to play on was not the right decision as you could say he should have collected that second goal if he could move. What an absolute disappointment from Tamori and Pavlovic they looked completely lost. You didn’t mention Morata and honestly he was a ghost and had zero hold up play when the ball went his way, Tammy looked so much sharper.
Keep up the good work Kush, but I disagree with the point on a coach change. Roma has pulled the trigger on De Rossi for underwhelming results and play in the first 4 games. No reason why we can't analyse and realise that despite management and poor player scouting for our needs, that tactically we are still inept. A coach can still get results or a style of play or fill square pegs in round holes until .... we are not being treated with much optimism so far. Mistakes are different from a player being just bad. These players are forcing too much errors with positioning and other things which are coachable.
