When the AC stops working in a car we tend to imagine all kinds of serious and expensive solutions. We have a leak, the compressor failed, there’s a plug up in the condenser. This video shows that something quite simple can be done to get the air to blow cold again.

What if you changed the cabin air filter. And it's still not working

With AC failure there are many possibilities. Low refrigerant level is number one.

Absolutely. Only a few trim parts need to be removed to access and change the filter.

@@TheOriginalMechanic great, I'll let ya know how it goes. Worse comes to worse I'll just have a clean filter which is probably needed. I'm in TX and it's 105 degrees here and I've been struggling to find a solution, I've already been to a few mechanics and none of them thought this. It's either this or electrical. Compressor and leak issues have been ruled out
