Siren located at Veterans Park on Church Rd. near Irving Park Rd. Starts at 0:52 Also ambience at begining (mostly T-128's) & train horn action at the end! (turn your speakers up for those)
This is a Cyclone made by ACA (Alerting Communicators of America); basically what the title says. They are a really haunting sounding siren at a distance too! :)
@Mrcoolnavy Well, the next time I can record a siren test is probably June (unless I have a snow day or something on February 7th.) Why one of those sirens? Do you know if they test in modes other than alert?
@neosho53059 Sentry still makes the 40v2t which has 2 20 hp motors but is still about 5 db louder at 100 feet than the Cyclone. It also has a 2/3 port ratio but is 10/15 port instead of 8/12.
@murrfarms - They sometimes do. He and I had an agreement. If they did attack, He'd let me upload the first one upclose of a cyclone in attack. He failed to realize that the place that tests these, is 13 yards away. So, when I come back to this in January, I gotta see if they'd do attack.
My dads house is actually nearby and I remember coming to his house to stay over and a massive storm came and I woke up to these siren roaring through the house. By the way what kind of siren is this?
