this siren is odd ACA complained about the thunderbolt for having an "out swung horn" and had to have air piped up to the horn. THE HURRICANE HAS THAT TOO. y u do this
No that definitely won't happen. They have repaired this thing several times in the past couple of years. It would cost about 30K to replace it but only about 1-5K to fix it.
@@trainman5371 I agree with you. And by the way my profile picture is a square horn hurricane. 130 = Square horn hurricane 130 MKII = Round horn hurricane
@@mindyabeezwaxxdoodes Haha I was for awhile. I just call it the square horn Hurricane to not confuse anyone. I think since the second generation has MKII (Mark II) in its name people just unconsciously refer to the first generation as the Mark one.
@@KingstonAddictWhat a coincidence, I actually ran into a plumbing person who's an enthusiast too! I've heard this siren has A LOT of issues, especially with the compressor!
@@peefiftee6060 oh nice! I ended up seeing this beauty when I went a few years ago lol. Was neat to see it! I don’t have many sirens in my area since my county doesn’t find it necessary. I wonder who you met?
I mean its on the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Managements website but it hasn't been updated in at least 5 years. Milwaukee County tests on the 2nd Wednesday at Noon, if you wanna know other cities testing times I can tell you
Digisirran Thank you. You see, I want to build a siren here at my house, and I like the sound of the Hurricane, so I wanted to know what port it is. Either that, or I could go for an 8/12 like the P-50 or Cyclone. Again, thanks. I do appreciate it.
